Moglix — wrong product (printer) delivered... not accepting return...

Paid for an HP LaserJet printer through Moglix, cost is around Rs.31, 000/-
They sent me an Epson inkjet printer, vastly cheaper and of no use to me.
I tagged the product for return immediately (through their WhatsApp feature), and provided all pictures they asked for.

Moglix said, no Shipping Label picture and Rejected the return request. This (Shipping Label) was the first (of 6) pictures I had sent.
Could no longer do anything on their WhatsApp as Return was “Rejected”. So, had to wait two days to call them (customer service not available over the weekend).

Their so called customer service is the most pathetic (unhelpful and unfeeling) I have ever come across. The guy reads a couple of scripts about definitely helping us (customer) and then says to do this via their chat feature. He was also suspicious when I said return was effected on their WhatsApp because that feature was down (according to the customer service guy).

When some noise was made on the phone, they said to open the box and provide pictures. And, then, that is sufficient and to send the pictures to their [protected]@moglix.com (mailto:[protected]@moglix.com) id.
We did that.

They took 24 hours to respond…said some more pictures were required. We provided that.

Then, they said that unboxing video is required.

We provided that. The external cover was just bubble wrap.
They took another 24 hours and are saying that we should also provide unboxing for external box (there is no box…just bubble wrap). We of course do not have video of cutting bubble wrap.

The Epson inkjet printer is so small in comparison with the HP printer we had ordered and paid for…there is no way to even bubble wrap in this small wrap package they have sent the Epson printer in.

They are just playing the customer for a fool (which we probably are for trusting Moglix and trying to purchase an expensive printer).

It appears that Moglix has no intentions of taking back this erroneous product.

We are trying with the Credit Card bank (ICICI) to see if we have any protection from them, against this Fraud… so far, it does not appear to be the case.

Individual Customer in India seems to have no protection whatsoever.
Seems like we have lost a huge amount, around Rs 31, 000/-, and can do nothing about it. The cheap inkjet printer they have delivered (instead of the HP LaserJet printer that we ordered and paid for), is useless to me and is just junk.
