I bought a cadbury's dairy milk 'crackle' chocolate bar today from a general store nearby ('shubham' stores) for personal consumption. When i cut open the package, i found a tiny white worm in the chocolate. More details below:

Date of purchase/incident: 27-nov-17
Store name: 'shubham' stores
Location: dhole patil farms road, kharadi, pune
Item details: lot - k70730, packaging date - july 2017, code: c8
Bar code:[protected]

Photos of the product attached. I have retained it in the refrigerator for submission to the relevant authorities.

I would like an immediate refund of the price of the product.

After several follow-ups with Mondelez India Foods, including on their Facebook account, the spoilt chocolate bar, lying with me for over three weeks, was finally collected by their representative in exchange for two good ones. Given the time taken to respond on this simple complaint, they need to really improve on Customer Service.

It has been over a week since I have reported the incident but no action has been taken. If I do not get a response by today, I shall escalate the matter to the relevant authorities.

The product in the complaint has been lying with me since over two weeks now. Despite prompt and relevant communication and providing all necessary contact details, Mondelez Foods has not taken any action on this complaint.

Mondelez India Foods has not bothered to take any action on this complaint for over three weeks now. This speaks volumes about the 'highest quality standards' maintained by them, not only in terms of production quality but also in terms of resolving customer complaints. I have already discontinued purchasing Mondelez India Foods products and would also encourage friends and family not to do so.

    I visited mukteshwar, andhra pradesh and bought some cadbury dairy milk chocolates from there. All the 8 10 rupees chocolates are in bad condition and the expiry date hasn't even crossed yet.
    Forget about the 80 rupees, thank god i haven't gave them to the children there.
    Kindly check the product batch before you distribute it. You are a well known company, people value your product. So, kindly avoid negligence when you are in food business

      Dear madam/sir,

      I bought a cadbury silk oreo chocolate today 25.11.17 with batch no[protected]. After opening the packet, i am surprised to smell this product as it stinks badly. It seems it spoiled and seems like very oily. And it also tastes too bad to eat. My throat starts infecting after eating it. If something happens to my health i will go to govt. Authorities.

        I am writing this complaint to inform you that today I bought a 10rs packet of Cadbury Shots. As I remember the ad they used to show that "2rs ka 2 laddu". So I was expecting 10 shots in the pack, But as I counted before eating they are only 9. And I am so disappointed. I wanna ask that in all 10rs packs is 9 shots are their or 10?
        And if only 9 shots are their then please make it 10 shots because first thing its not balanced according to equation, as they tell in ad "2 rs ka 2 laddu" So it should be 10rs ka 10 laddu.
        And second thing is it feels like you guys missed one shots in the pack. 9... I can't daisest this number. Its odd.

          I purchased cadbury bournville rich cocoa chocolate from spenser's allahabad on 18 nov 2017.. I opened the same on 23 nov 2017.. The chocolate was spoiled.. Looked like very old & breaks like powder.. But the packed date was 10/2017.. I don't understands why it was like that.. When it was with the expiry date... You requested to issue directions to the spenser allahabad to replace the item to me..

            I bought a pack of five star and it has twenty pieces and the price is 150. My friend also bought the same one but in pieces and each one cost only five rupees and she bought twenty pieces for hundred and the piece looks bigger and tasted better. I feel that i have been charged fifty extra and they have cheated me. I never expected such a company to cheat like that and next time i have to think twice before buying a product from cadbury.

              I have bought a box of dairy milk which contained 56unit of 12.5gm each of chocolate. Its code d70316 b1. Its manufacturing date is 16/03/17. It is not expired and it has sawtoothed beetles (Sureri) inside the chocolate. Its taste also changed. Cadbury is a well known brand and we trust it blindly. We nvr expect such things form cadbury. Send your supervisor to check the box and chocolate.

                  This is to let you know that dairy milk shots was such a contender over the years and successfully managed to keep us awake throughout our two our lectures. But lately they've gone down (Like to the core) and we do not receive the same satisfying quality anymore. The other day we opened the pack to get nothing but you crushed product and also how incredibly small the size has become! We do not get that "worth the 10 rupees" feel anymore.
                  Kindly look into the matter and do the needful for your customer's satisfaction.
                  Hoping to have more of "the real dairy milk shots" in the days to come.

                          I have brought a five star chocolate from a shop near to my house to my sisters kid, and i have noticed that the product is full of fungus on it. I depressed a lot. The cadbury firm should bare my mental agony. Now a days big firms are playing with people health, if i have ate it in a dark place (Traveling bus at night time, during a conversation with neighbour, etc) i wouldn’t have noticed it. It can lead to my death as a slow poison, i think my government will take a quick action against the firm mondelez india foods (Cadbury india)

                          I have purchased one cadbury dairy milk 12.5 g chocolate of Rs. 10 from a local shop. But after opening the pack, my 7 years old daughter found some mysterious thing inside havingsome bubble like texture which may be seen in the attached picture. I have purchase a 10rupees of five star chocolate on shop of puja medical kandivali east. I just want to tell you I got one stone center in five star which is broke my one side teeth. Now tell me which type of service you are providing?
                          It is scary Helerious I can't imagine it this also will happen in food company. shame on you I am not going to have this chocolate again thank you so much for your service.

                            Bad quality i have 2 boxes of cadbury celebrations the first one i eat cadbury diary milk which is real in taste but on other box of celebrations the taste of same chocolate is totally different dry and white and quality of every product even 5 star is a bar chocolate which includes caramel but in box 5 star worst taste no caramel quality compromised...

                            I bought dairy milk silk Oreo from a retailer. As soon as I opened it a horrible oil stench came out of it. It smells like kerosene oil, the white cover of the chocolate is greasy as well. Spent 80rs and this is what I get...

                              I purchased a dairy milk worth rs.20 and i was disgusted by the quality and hygiene of the product. The manufacturing date was may 2017, and it was stated that the product was best before manufacturing date. But i was seriously disappointed with the quality. I had purchased this product to give to children under 5 years. I regret to imagine the outcomes had they consumed this contaminated product. I am planning to file a case in the consumer court.

                                I was a huge cadbury fan and right from my childhood, i've only had chocolates from cadbury (I'm a big chocolate lover), but not any more. Today my father brought a dairy milk for me from a local shop and to my utter surprise (Read shock), there was a worm present inside the sealed packet. It was moving. Thank god that i saw it, else i would have consumed that worm/ insect as well... I had never expected that something like this would happen with me that too from such a huge company.. Immediately i called the shop owner.. Just because of this, i will quit buying products of cadbury.. I have not posted anything in facebook as of now, but maybe i will to make others aware of the same thing and i have even taken photos of it. This is such a disgusting matter.

                                  I have a Cadbury gift pack in which the dairy milk chocolate is whities and white dots in it.
                                  This is not we expect from such a big company.
                                  Where is the check before packing.
                                  Never ever I will eat Cadbury chocolate.
                                  I still have a pack to open.
                                  And the manufacturing is 07/17.
                                  I will need to take it to social media and media for not being serious on food check and quality.

                                  The dairy milk in cadbury celebrations is having whities and white dots.
                                  I'm attaching the photos.
                                  Manufacturing is 07/17, which looks ok.
                                  This is very serious on food quality check.
                                  Need to take this to social media and media, so that the issue is taken very seriously as this can effect humans health and some times can be very serious.
                                  Not sure if cadbury has a good quality check in place

                                  Chocolates inside the pack were not of good quality and shape, Most of them were sticked to each other and some white colour on few dry fruit chocolates.

                                    Hello cadbury,
                                    Since childhood, you were the best lovable chocolate o[censored]s. But taday i believe in the pace of doing business, you have prioritize "margin of profits" over "trust of common consumer".
                                    I purchased this "cadbury dairy milk lickables" for the 1st time, (Mostly we prefer cadbury silk) for our toddler baby.
                                    But i was shocked to see inside the 70% area to vaccum (For so called toys) and next when i opened the bottom pack it was again lesser not full.
                                    You are hurting the customer by such practices. These are cheap practices to lure customers and then dissapoint them.

                                    Please take your products and refund my money.

                                        I bought a oreo silk and just opened it to get a bad oily smell. The white covering inside has turned greenish and the taste of the chocolate is also altered! Smells like some sort of oil. Never expected this from cadbury! I loved oreo silk till date and cadbury just lost a customer! The minute i opened it i could sense there is something wrong. I wonder where the oil came from!
