I am writing to lodge a serious complaint regarding your product, Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate. On 4th December 2024, I purchased the chocolate from a shop opposite Navodaya Medical College, Raichur district. Upon opening the packaging, I was shocked to find visible fungus/mold on the product, indicating a severe lapse in quality control.
This is an alarming health hazard and an unacceptable failure from a reputed brand like Cadbury, which is trusted for maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Such negligence not only endangers consumers' health but also erodes the brand's credibility.
I demand a prompt investigation into this issue and substantial compensation for the distress and inconvenience caused. Additionally, I seek a detailed explanation of how this lapse occurred and the corrective measures being implemented to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Should I not receive a satisfactory response within 7 days, I will be compelled to escalate this matter to consumer protection agencies, regulatory authorities, and public platforms to safeguard other consumers from such experiences.
