[Resolved]  Mondelez India Foods / Cadbury India — Worms in chocolates

Dear team,

This complaint is against worms being found in chocolate cadbury crackle in 3-4 chocolates out of a lot of 10 chocolates purchased in lucknow.

The representative who visited my place was handled the chocolates with the issue along with the wrapper but he told that he could only provide a replacement and no further action can be taken..

Me as a customer is highly unsatisfied with the mondelez representative of not providing the exact excerpt of the concern as the conversation and feedback did not reach the higher quality team.. My complaint as well which was provided on 31.08.20 and unable up attach the same because of file size. And some senior mr nitin north head in lucknoe (As told by amit) also spoke to me and i had told him my exact concern.

The worms were found on the chocolate and this may be a retailer issue but for me the company is responsible as i have been purchasing chocolates of the same brand for the past 25 years.

I had already gave the wrapper and chocolates of same batch to representative who denied to collect them stating that there will be no subsequent action and they can only. Provide a replacement.. I was looking for action from your end as this is a serious concern considering that i have small children in age group of 2-5 years who consumed the chocolates..

This is to be taken severally and i would claim a compensation of rs 50000 or hamper of chocolates boxes from your end of equivalent value as a part of this incorrect representation and no action taken or delay for the worms in chocolates

Consumer forum complaint would be the next possible outcome on no action as this is highly unprofessional of the mondelez group which had been a pioneer on the cadbury segment..

In this connection we confirm that our Consumer Conversation Executive has been in constant touch with you from 28th August the date you registered your complaint till yesterday 17th September. We have also sent a letter to you on 2nd September explaining our standard operating procedure and our replacement policy. We note that you are not in possession of the chocolate, you will appreciate in the absence of the product we are unable to ascertain the cause of your dis-satisfaction. This is a practice followed by all FMCG companies be it white goods or packaged food. In this connection we draw your attention to the Quality statement printed on all our packs. We regret we are unable to accede to your replacement request. Assuring you of our best attention at all times.
