Monginis Cake Complaints & Reviews

I had purchased many pastries from last many years from monginis but never got this much rotten pastries in all those years. Today I bought one red velvet pastry and a black forest pastry from monginis (sector-8, Airoli, navi mumbai). Black forest pastry has rotten cream into it, it's texture is messed up, it's yellowish in colour, it was horrible. I had to throw it away. Red velvet pastry has hard base and doesn't seem fresh at all.

We have ordered a customised cake for a baby shower. The person present at monginis shop taking the order requirement was very arrogant and put different requirements than expectations, causes a wrong cake delivery and the function turned into laughing due ti the end product/cake we got from monginis,
1) the messages told by us is written prtially on cake.
2) the initial requirement was 2 birds as parent of color blue and pink, and the child in nest is of blue color, this was the main object on cake, but when the order came it was all three birds facing only one side and 2 birds where in next of blue color. Requirement cakes and delivered cake photos are attached, plz reach us on [protected]. And refund for this delivery

I bought cake from monginis near airport on 12th Aug 2021, however cake was totally damage with bad smell.
My mother have that and she was suffering Vometting.
Please have a look inthis at earliest.

Pastry become Hard .it was stale. tatse is bad

I was given old pastry which tasted sour...it made me suffer from severe indigestion...I had stomachaches and headaches for 2 days

I ordera cake from mognicis sikandarpur muzaffarpur on 13.07.2021 in the name of dhruv with design but at the time of delivery on 15.07.2021 it was different from original design specially main element on the top baby was missing.as flovour was good but i am really disappointed with design as my baby first half year birthday you all spoiled my party as main element was missing on the cake.

I Had ordered a cake of 3kg with monginis shop at nallsopara east 401209, the, shop opposite DK motors the cake is as per the image but the colour which i had finalised for the cake as per image is not what i required, image it was peach colour and they have given Pink, , there is much difference between the colour, I had placed my order between 12th july to 14th July 2021...its my daughters first birthday and you people have spoiled it by doing this stuff

Yesterday 14 th July 2021 I purchased a chocolate cake from Monginis outlet Kolkata Gariahat (Bijanshetu Auto Stand) for my parent's anniversary.

The cake was not fresh at all. It was entirely rotten. Extremely unexpected from a brand like Monginis.

I have purchase pineapple cake from kolhapur. But cake test is very bad like bitterness.

The shopkeeper provided expired product(veg burger)
While complaining about it the shopkeeper was rude and instead asked me that I would have checked the product (veg burger) before buying it.

I have purchased red velvet cake from monginies kondhwa branch opp to jyoti hotel.before 2 hours only .the cake tatste very sour and .in is fully watery mongines have spoiled my father's day surprise

I am pravin anil kambale mob.[protected] email- KAMBALE [protected]@gmail.com from kalina mumbai, i bought cake from monginis cake shop kalina, mumbai - 400029...at around 6pm on 14 jan 2021 and kept in fridge ... birthday celebration started at 9pm when cake was cut at home we found that it was not fresh and smelling lot so everyone didn't eat cake tat moment was so unsatisfying and stressful...and we could not enjoy birthday also whoever ate that cake feeling unwell and stomach pain.
So I request competent authority to take some action so customer should never get cheat and shop owner should not play with life of their valuable customer.
Please help me out this please reply me for further process.

I bought a cake on yesterday i.e. 30th march 2021 of 1kg and 1/2 kg to celebrate my parents wedding anniversary ; turned out bizzare.

Cake is smelling very bad, lousy and shoddy which restricted our celebration and everyone was distraught, very disappointed with your service.

Cake feels like it's made 8 9 days prior and what if I ate it anyway and got food poisoned or got sick in this covid-19 situation who would be responsible.

Do something and give me my money back before I raise a complain and sue you if needed expecting reply ASAP.

I ordered Melting chocolate cake from Monginis cake shoo Dadar T.T branch which cost Rs 900/-...The cake base(sponge cake ) was very hard...No one in my family had cake ...i am very disappointed ☹️..it spoiled my occation...😡

This is to inform you that Today (07.04.21) around 5:45pm I visited Monginis opposite to Lake Mall, Kolkata: 700026. I asked for two pastries. After having them I had asked for a Chicken Patty. The man (later I got to know he is also the owner) gave me a Patty and left the shop to attend another clothing shop that he owns right next to this Monginis. After having a bite I realised it was NOT A CHICKEN PATTY, IT WAS A VEG PATTY. As I'm restricted to having certain vegetables, I informed a girl present there in the Monginis uniform that I have been given the wrong item, I can't have it and I need a replacement. I had ordered a Chicken Patty and I would like to have one. She was hesitant and said that the man has left so she can't do anything. When I asked her to call him, she said she doesn't have his number!

I threw away the Veg Patty and asked for a Chicken Patty. While I was having the chicken patty, the owner was back. The girl asked him and he admitted that he had given a Veg Patty. He asked me if I had it, I said no after taking a bite I had to throw it away. But then when he was billing my order, he took money for BOTH THE VEG PATTY (which was NOT ORDERED AND NOT EATEN AS WELL) AND THE CHICKEN PATTY along with the pastries. When I asked him to deduct the money he said he can't do so as he won't be able to pay Monginis since the Patty was wasted. His behaviour was extremely reluctant and rude. No apology, no refunding of the money.

I can't imagine what would have happened if someone who is a VEGETARIAN had ordered a Veg Patty and received a Chicken Patty and would have realised it after a bite! What would have happened then?! A Veg Patty costs ₹18/- which was WRONGLY CHARGED. MORE THAN THE AMOUNT, WHAT ABOUT THE NAME OF THE COMPANY AND THEIR SERVICE?

Extremely disappointed and disheartened at my favourite cake shop.
Not only do I demand a refund of my ₹18/- but I urge you to take necessary steps against such callousness, rudeness, irresponsibility that is tainting the name of our very own Monginis.

We would like bring to your notice. One of your branch located in Kausa (Mumbra), Thane 400612 is selling Stale and Rotten cakes.

This is the sixth incident notified by my family and friends that we have received stale cakes. Taste of cake is bitter. Monginies firm will be responsible is case of medical emergency due to consumption of such rotten cakes sold by your registered branch.

Store person is not accepting his mistake and always arguing with customers. Next time I will lodge online consumer complaint against the shop keeper and I will raise social awareness on social media to address my complaint.

This is regarding a cake purchased from Gandhi Nagar, Kaanti factory, kankarbagh, Patna outlet of monginis. So this was a pre-ordered 1.5 kg fondant cake. First of all they provided me a simple choco-layer cake (with vanilla inside as per my order) with just about a 5x4inch of fondant used in the cake but i was priced for a complete fondant cake. This was something i was shocked at because this wasn't expected from Monginis that they fool people like this.It costed me Rs. 1500/- . I had ordered it on 28 feb, 2021 and received on 2nd march 2021.

It hasn't ended yet, the second shock was that the cake was of extremely worst quality. The outer layer of cream was fresh but the cream used inside was sour in taste and had a foul smell.My birthday party was completely ruined.
When i complained, they first asked me to bring a sample of cake . I did that. When i reached the store, they asked me to bring the remaining cake and promised if the cake would be more than 50% of the total, they would refund me the whole amount. Now when i have returned about 60% of the cake, they r just not ready to keep their promise. I want my whole money back i.e Rs.1500 either by any online mode or in cash.
It's also not about the cake
The attendant at the customer care service behaved in a very rude way.
This way of harassing your customers will only lead to stop buying from you. Totally devastated by your service .

Really unbelievable that a pre-ordered cake would be that bad!

I ordered Veg puff and paneer puff from monginis Bidar store...
Venkateswar Colony, Old RTO Office Road, Bidar Bus Stand, Bidar - 585401, Near Karachi Bakery

When i got the puff it was totally different for which i ordered.

On further checking found it to have fungus like dots at the bottom also looks absolutely stale in center.

My sister tasted and said it was smelling and tasting sour.

I called the store manager he refused to offer any kind of help or return.

I called customer care service... Nobody is picking up my call.

This stale fungus food can lead us to food poisoning do u know that??

I will take strict action if i dont get my resolution.
