I purchased a Motorola Edge 60 on 6th August 2025 from Motorola.in. On the first day o[censored]se, I observed fog formation inside the main camera lens, which severely affects picture quality.
I contacted Motorola’s online support, who advised me to visit the service centre. On 7th August 2025, I submitted my phone to the authorised service centre. After 8 days without any update, I called them and was told I could collect my phone because there was “no problem” and that the fog was “due to weather conditions.”
I live in Lucknow, India, and if the device is not suitable for Indian weather, this should have been disclosed before sale. Travelling to the service centre (which is far from my residence) caused me additional inconvenience, and the issue remains unresolved.
This is a clear case of deficiency in service and possible product defect. I request:
A proper technical inspection and resolution of the camera fogging issue.
Written confirmation on whether the Motorola Edge 60 is designed for Indian climatic conditions.
Replacement or refund if the defect cannot be fixed.
I have all supporting documents — purchase invoice, service job sheet, photos of the defect, and communication records — and can provide them upon request. Was this information helpful? |
