[Resolved] Motorola Mobility — moto g5s faulty piece and now they are not giving warranty | |||||
Hi, I have purchased Moto G5S mobile from Amazon on 9th April 2018. It's their anniversary offer where device price was 14k and they gave in Rs. 9999. I doubt they sold me faulty piece only. Within 3 months, speakers stopped working. I contacted their support center and they said its liquid damage. In reality, mobile was used by my mother who is 62 years old and she is using only to pick the call of family members. Hardly 2-3 calls in a day. 100% it is not touched with water at all. To run away from giving replacement, they said its liquid damage so it won't come under warranty. Their service center people shows me that white part which is center of circuit. and all surrounding part is fine. and said this is liquid damage. Even they mentioned in description that mobile is coated so that it saves from liquid. It is not openable like old devices where we can open for battery and sim card. It is unbelievable that liquid goes straight to center part and damage that part only. All surrounding part is fine. I asked all these questions to explain how is it possible to damage only center part only. They didn't answer and keep saying it's liquid damage so it wont come under warranty. Please do needful.
