Dear motorola, I have bought your moto g5 plus phone last month. Impressed with its features and specifications like great camera and water repellent coating. I have been using it but 22nd april two day back glass of water accidentally fall on my mobile phone i wipe the water with a cloth and keep using it with my peace in mind beacuse your company's goodwill, reputation and your "water repellant coating" (Which you have also mentioned in your official site). My phone was in contact with water just for mere 10-15 seconds and that to was splash of water not submerged. After 10 minutes i noticed fogging on my front selfie camera so i immediately switch off my phone and kept it as next day was sunday (23rd april) i keep the phone in a safe and dry place. Today (24th april) i went to your service center in dehradun, uttrakhand. There i waited for my number and show my phone to your customer care executive. At first instance my phone did not start due to low battery issue. But then after sometime it start after charging and the display starts very very dim and your executive says that it is out of warranty as he can see fogging from in the front camera. I urge him to open the phone and check the sticker has turned pink or not. But he didn't listen to me. And told me that i have to pay rs.2000 service charge and if phone was able to get repaired then they will do it. My question why are you charging such a high service charge? And why are you selling your products by saying they are water repllent when they cannot even go through such a small splash and voiding the warranty? And they also told me that if display of the phone is damaged i have to pay near 10000 rupees to change it. Please provide me with sufficient resolve to my problem which i didn't get from your customer service center. This is my first motorola handset i don't want to move our relationship forward on such a note. Please resolve my issue otherwise i have to take some alternate ways as a consumer. Service center is in mdda plaza near clocktower, dehradun I am sending you receipt of the bill. Also i have also noticed sometimes fogging on rear camera also.
