Mumbai Mirror — non payment of rent from builder on redevelopment of building

Hello. My name is amit and i am a tenant of building know as vora building situated in sindhi lane svp near alankar talkies mumbai 400004. My building went for redevelopment in the year 2013 by builders known as rubberwala contractors office situated in agripada near mumbai central. It's been almost 4 years and non o[censored]s tenants have received the rents that was promised to us after one year. I have rented a house and two shops which i had it in that building. Today situation is such that i don't even have money to pay my rents anymore. The rubberwala builder owner tabrez rubberwala is least bothered to pay us rents and treats us bad when we visit him. We beg we cried we tried all we would but nothing has changed. He is a very influential man with contacts with the underworld. He isn't scared of police or law. We are helpless and need to do something about the situation. I have all the documents that are required and can produce when and where required. I need this problem to be sorted but can't find anyways. I kindly and deeply request you was the media people to help us now or else we might now have to take self hazardous steps. We don't even have money to file a suit in court. Please help!
