Mumbai Traffic Police — challans issued during flooding | |||
This complain is regarding Echallan issued - MUMCM[protected] The place that i live in is already in news for water logging problem issues during monsoon at is the low lying area ie Jaibharat society - Khar west. https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/citizen-reporter/stories/water-logging-at-jay-bharat-society-khar/articleshow/5...⇄ Please refer above article. On 1st July 2019 when it rained very heavily and there was flooding, i took my car and my scooter out from our area and parked it close to SV road so that it doesnt get washed away.I parked my scooter next to Bindu madhav vachanalay on 5th road which is run by shivsena as other scooters were also parked there on the footpath as it is a closed path due to library at the corner. The footpath in question is not even operational and i have been penalised for parking my scooter on it. Please tell me is it not BMC responsibility to ensure that there is no water logging so that we dont have to rush our vehicles everytime down pour starts.I parked my scooter in the morning and even removed it in evening after i came from office, but again due to the police officials not understanding the situation clicks pic and issues E-challan. Atleast officer should understand local issue and be courteous enough to allow for a day, even the SV roads near railway quarter is closed due to low lying area...where do we go ????? and keep paying fine ???
