Booking id - 6584241. I paid for the car for 4 full days and was late in handing over the car by 3 hours due to an overturned truck on the national highway causing backed up traffic jams from entering the city. I paid for the car till 11:30 am Monday morning but returned the car early at 3:30 am Monday morning (8 hrs before my 4 days ended). I had PAID for it in full for 4 days @ Rs.2000 a day! They have already double charged me for 4 hours overr and above what I've already paid and that too at a 50% higher per hour fee imposed on the double charge for 4 hours.

For background when the car was booked (first time using them) I picked 11:30 pm of 27th March instead of 11:30 AM of 28th March (for 4 full days 24 11:30 am - 27th March). Nevertheless, i decided to bring the car back by 11:30 pm on 27th March itself and called customer care to ensure if they do bill me for "over" hours (which are technically not over hours), then please charge 30% extra and NOT 50% extra. Customer care confirmed my request but them proceeded to deducted 50% as if customers, STD calls, call waiting, esclations, staying on endless hold and talking to multiple agents just does not matter to this company.

I am blown away by the unprofessionalism of this organization and the angst it is causing customers. I called two days to talk to a supervisor Pradeep who when I asked for on the phone was "unavailable" to speak after the first day. They are not returning the security deposit and keeping the money as if thug standards of business are acceptable to singlehanded enforcing. Isn't it fraud to double charge (more like triple charge) a customer and then become unreasonable and unresponsive to their concern?

They have not responded to my repeat emails and on the phone say there is nothing they can do about it. They are yet to return my money back and say it takes them 10 days to return the security deposit back and its only been 5 days right now so to wait.
