Sir, I, Adv. Abraham K George submit the following facts for your record. On 02 July 2021, I tried to recharge the fast tag issued to me by IDFC bank. The registration number of the vehicle is given above. After logging in to the IDFC bank fast tag site, I entered all the relevant details to recharge the fast tag. when I selected the net banking option - SBI, the following message appeared. Quote “Insufficient merchant information. Sorry unable to process your request.” Un quote I made several attempts and every time my efforts failed. Then I contacted your customer care number and your executive (One Mr. Sumit) answered my call. He instructed me to contact SBI. Since I have no legal connection with SBI, as far as the fast tag is concerned, I am afraid that the instructions given by Mr. Sumit is legally not valid. I requested Mr. Sumit to escalate my complaint. Fast tag is issued to me by IDFC bank. The relevant site to log in is maintained by IDFC bank. I have no legal connection with SBI as far as this Fast tag is concerned. The maintenance of this site or the recharge facility of fast tag issued by IDFC bank must be the responsibility of IDFC bank. If this understanding of mine is not correct, please correct me. The deficient service or no service from IDFC bank caused mental agony and wastage of time. I shall be grateful if you could kindly sort out this issue, and an early reply shall be highly appreciated. Regards, Abraham K George M.Tel.
