National Highways Authority Of India [NHAI] — Payment of toll despite long waiting due to traffic congestion at dappar toll plaza

While going from ambala to chandigarh on july 09, 2017, i happened to cross the toll plaza at about 13.11 hrs.

There was a traffic jam at the toll plaza and it took me about 10 minutes to reach the toll window, i also have a recording of the same.

When i asked the person about how much time a person is supposed to wait after which he is not supposed to pay the toll, i was told by him that there is no such rule. On my further asking him about yellow line rule for the decongestion of the traffic jams at toll barriers, i received the same reply.

After paying the toll (Ticket no [protected]), when i went to meet the toll plaza manager to further discuss and resolve the situation, i was extremely astonished that no senior or authoritative person was available to listen to my grievances. Who so ever was available, they also gave me the same reply as that of the operator at the toll barrier.

I have recording of the complete event along with the toll ticket available with me to further substantiate my claim.

As such, it is humbly requested to kindly look into the matter and do the needful for the satisfactory resolution of the problem with a further request to ensure that the necessary regulation are properly implemented and followed at all the toll plazas across india.

Hope to receive due consideration.

from bangalore to Hubli about 300 kms road is good.

But last 100 kms roads are really bad very
un even small cars will be in trouble even when we drive at 70 to 80 kms speed . everyone pays toll. but this stretch is not attened to repair.
