National Insurance Company — Rude behavior of employee | |
Dear sir I am a senior citizen of 63 years of age from pune maharashtra. I have mediclaim policy worth rs 5 lakhs through bank of india pune. I lost my wife to cancer in 2012 and have one son of 36 years handicapped, slow learner, disable brain, dependent on me. I applied for further mediclaim policy of rs 5 lakhs through bank of baroda aundh, pune. The proposal was rejected without giving any reason. Not only it was rejected but i was insulted and humiliated by your staff name ms sujata paranjape (Ph no. [protected]). She was very rude and abusive and shut the phone. I asked for reason of rejection, she said: A) "did i ask you to apply" B) "why are you taking national insurance because it is cheaper than others, why are you not taking other company' insurance" C) "it is my wish to reject i will not give you the policy" D) "i don't have time to talk to you' E)"go and apply to other company" Her tone was very high and rough. Your customers that too senior citizens who want to be secured are treated as dirt and don't know where to go for shelter. If your employees behave the way she did shows you do not value the customers. I expect immediate action from you and a written apology by the said staff.
