National Travels — Travel from Bengaluru to Chennai

I booked my travel through Redbus with National Travels, Omni Bus, Bengaluru for Saturday night 30-Jul-2022, boarding place at Electronic City. Bus schedule provided was 11:50pm. Since, I reached early around 10 pm itself I called National travels[protected] and requested to provide a seat in earlier buses, if available. My request was honored and I was notified that NL01 B 1555 will pick me up by 11:25 pm. Driver's mobile no. [protected] was also given to me. I was waiting beyond the scheduled arrival and called the driver from 11:15 pm onwards to check his whereabouts since the nus tracking link provided also was not working. After 3 or 4 calls, the driver told me that he is in a Police station as his Bus caused an accident with a Car and the Car owner doesn't want to settle without 1 Lakh rupees. He asked me to wait stating National travels managers are speaking. However, until 1:25 am (3 hours after scheduled pick-up time) there were no updates. I called the driver again and he told if I don't come in half an hour, the trip will get cancelled. I was only person standing in Electronics City Bus stop (near to KSRTC depot) at 2 am (31-Jul-2022) and started looking for some other options. I got a bus around 2:15 am to Hosur, then another Bus from Hosur to Velur and then another Bus from Velur to Tambaram and 1 more to my town near my residence. I reached around 10 am without any sleep and completely in an energy drained state. I contacted and informed National Travels Manager but he replies very cooly that Bus arrived around 2:30 am near Electronics city. There was no call or no information either from the Bus driver or from National travels, which I can prove or through Cyber Crime department. Please help me to get my booking amount + compensation. My sincere advise to all passengers, please book KSRTC or any govt. busess only. These people are only for Money and they don't care about anything else. Only if they are left stranded in the middle of the road for 3 1/2 hours without any information they may realise.
