Today I was carrying five carton boxes each 20Kgs approx I alredy had a reserved ticket. I requested the national travels office person to make challan and I will give you the cash, they were reluctant and said they need money they were demanding 2000 rupees. Generally per box the price varies from 100 to 150 rupees but these national travels hooligans asked to to take my material and said the bus would leave without me. The money was shared between driver and office personal

    This is Regarding Bus booking. Your service is not customer friendly.
    By Mistake, I have booked a Bus for October-1st- 10.30 AM instead of 10.30 PM. When I asked manager in Chennai about swapping my ticket from Morning to Evening.
    They are not ready to accept it. I have booked in Sleeper for Morning. But there where tickets available for Eve Semi-Sleeper.
    But even then they are not ready to adjust for customers. I will not get Re-Fund amount (1000.Rs) also.
    I’m highly disappointed by your service.

      Booked ticket in national travels from banglore to chennai for[protected]jabbar & national are partners, same bus ll only come if booked in jabbar or national) semi-sleeper A/C. I booked the ticket prior to one month, so the cost was very less, cost was less that 500(since it is festival time the ticket rate will be high if booked at last minute). Me and other 7 passengers were waiting on the boarding point at electronic city yesterday around 3:45 PM. We talked to the travels and they informed that the bus 'll com in another 5 mins. When the bus came, we showed our tickets to the conductor. He saw the ticket, he told that this not the right bus and another bus will come(But that was the right bus actually, i have travelled in same bus in normal days and i know that only 1 bus is there at that time). When we called the travels they informed us that the tickets are canceled and they told us to contact the online site which we booked(each passenger booked in different sites like ticketgoose, redbus, goibobo, etc). We were shocked as there was no prior information about the cancellation and we were 8 people waiting on the bording point. When we contacted the online booking office we came to know that the ticked is not canceled but the travels company has canceled those tickets as they were less cost and they has sold the same tickets with high rate to some other people(current rate was more than 1100). The online booking office told that they 'll refund the money but for us the money refund was not important at that time, we dint have any option to travel and they dint make any alternative arrangements. I booked the ticket prior for comfortable travel and dint prefer night travel because I need to be home at night as there function at home in early morning. I felt very disappointed as I started from office at 3:30 PM on thursday and was in a hurry to catch the bus as it starts at 3:50 PM. As it was festival time all buses were full, so couldn't get any bus. Finally I went to hosur and got a bus to Chennai, but it was a normal bus (only sitting no, semi-sleeper or sleeper) and I reached Chennai at 2:15 AM. My whole body is paining and felt very tired the whole day, dint sleep well and couldn't feel the festival mood. Many private travels cheat the passengers at festival time like this.

        Hi,

        I Prasad Peri,visited Jabalpur to enjoy the awesome water falls at Bhedaghat (Dhuvadhar) which was no less in
        comparision with Niagra Falls.

        We had reached Jabalpur via Nagpur boarding Sleeper bus and to return back to Nagpur we had again booked
        sleeper class from Jabalpur to Nagpur from Choudhari Travels,near Wine Shop,at Bus Stand.We were issued
        ticket which had name printed as 'NATIONAL TRAVELS' and it had written NANDAN (i.e. Nandan Travels Bus no. 0149)
        the receipt no. 4292.

        To our shock when we boarded the bus from Jabalpur at 11.00 am night (seat no 5 & 6) the seats were horribly torn
        not only our's but many other seats were also damaged,when we complained this to the bus attendent,he directed
        to complain in the office,when we called at office Mr. Pandey gave a number saying it was the owner's number
        (Mr. Navin) which was switched off.

        I am writing this with the hope the Travels (Nandan Travels) give value to the people's hard earned money.

          I was on the A/c Volvo bus (KA-01-C-4409) of National Travels which started at right time from Bangalore around 10:00 PM on 31-Oct-2010. I had one black and grey travellers bag and one olive green stroller which were kept in luggage storage area of the Volvo bus. For every luggage the cleaner of the bus gave token to the passanger for proper identification of the luggage and asked for 10 ruppes per luggage. When I reached my destination (Kalamboli highway) I was shell socked to know that my olive green stroller bag was missing but cleaner kept on insisting that he checked tokens and gave luggage to all the passangers, and finally he gave me some national travels Mumbai office contact number and took mine and assured that if by mistake my luggage got exchanged with any passenger then the spare luggage or abandoned luggage will be handed over to the Mumbai office. In the mean while I called and informed all the three National travels offices on the route, i.e Bangalore, Pune and Mumbai about the missing luggage.
          The driver called me and said the last spare bag in the bus is a very old bag which contains scrap paper and some old torn cloths. He informed me that he is submitting it to the Sion office. Next day I called driver and informed him that I am willing to check the content of the bag, so that owner can be traced and then he says he had give that bag at Crawford market office. I went and check the Nation Travels Crawford market godown and found that no such bag has been submitted. Again I called the driver and he said sir the bag belonged to the cleaner that is why we did not submitted it. I found all this very fisshy and called the National Travels Head office (group of very fast moving people) to inform that but I was not even started my complaint the person on the other side said, " Jaldi baat karo!" (say quickly). I am the one who has lost my luggage and valuables and this travel guy is getting furious!!! Then they made me speak to the driver in presence of head office guys (as if it matter at first place). Driver said the cleaner is sobing and this has never happend before, sir please adjust karlo! (kindly adjust), Cleaner ke do chote chote bacche hain (cleaner has got 2 small kids).
          Now my query is - just by printing that " We are not responsible for your luggage" on the ticket travel operators can wash their hands-off with the responsibility of the passenger's luggage?
          - No-body is taking responsibility, who will cover-up for the lose?

            FRAUD TRAVEL AGENCY

            NATIONAL TRAVELS IS THE WORST TRAVEL AGENCY I HAVE EVER FACED.
            I HAVE BOOKED A PACKAGE FROM TRIPUTI TO BANGLORE, MYSORE & OOTY COSTING RS. 1500 PER HEAD FOR 8 PEOPLE. FOLLOWING ARE THE PROBLEMS WHICH I HAVE FACED

            1) I HAVE BEEN PROMISED AN AC BUS FOR TRAVELLING BUT WAS COMPELLED TO TRAVEL THROUGH NON AC BUS.

            2)WAS PROMISED TO GET FOUR TWO-BED ROOMS FOR 8 PEOPLE BUT I GOT ONLY 3 ROOMS ON FIRST DAY AND...
