Respected sir/ma'am I have been a user of naukri.com for the past 4-5 months. I had uploaded my resume and applied to jobs as well. Today[protected] I received a phone call wherein the lady at the other end claimed to be an employee of naukri.com, she informed me that I had been selected for a job as cashier at HDFC( I had not applied for at HDFC) and will have to reach Sector 34, Chandigarh tomorrow for my walk-in interview and will have to pay a certain amount for the same. As I was suspicious about the same, I told her that I could not make it tomorrow. She then urged me to sit for a telephonic interview and for that I had to pay Rs.1000 to her as soon as possible claiming it to be the fee for documentation. I told her to mail me the official notice for the same and she readily agreed. After a few minutes she asked me to ping her on whatsapp. I have attached a screenshot of that conversation.
