Brief on Problem
We are a group of FOUR (at the price of Rs 79, 000 per head) who have booked for Kailash Mansarovar yatra 2013 after repeated written confirmation through e mail for an assured fixed departure for yatra scheduled on 15 Jul 13. Details are as under:

( Total amount of Rs 3, 16, 000 paid through booking invoices No 01668, 01669, 01670, 01671 dated 22 April 13)
THE SAME WAS CANCELLED JUST THREE TO FOUR DAYS BEFORE WITH HIGHLY UNRELIABLE REASONS OF INCLEMENT WEATHER BY THE SERVICE PROVIDER & requesting for another option of reschedule dates in Aug/ Sept 13. IT MAY BE NOTED OTHER TOUR ORGANIZATIONS HAVE CONDUCTED THE 15 JULY 13 YATRA SUCCESSFULLY AS PER SCHEDULE WITH OUT ANY PROBLEMS TO THE YATRIS & I HAVE MY OWN ARMY COLLEAGUE, who has completed the same as per schedule with other agents.
Since, we were keen to complete the yatra in 2013 vacation, have opted for second option of departure on 15 Aug 13. The service provider assured us again repeatedly of fixed departure without any problems this time. The passports were delivered to the Delhi office in person 10 days before as required for visa processing as required. AGAIN THEY HAD ANOTHER FLIMSY GROUNDS OF CLEARANCE FROM TIBET THIS TIME and cancelled the yatra just two days before departure. Again other agents were conducted yatra as per schedule as assured.
The service provided has repeatedly failed in adhering to Assured fixed departures not ONCE BUT TWICE, when others could adhere to the same.
We have been requesting them for FULL REFUND from AUG. They want us to choose a date in 2014 or Will be deducting RS 20, 000 per head towards cancellation charges.
Deduction of any amount is totally unjustified, since the FAULT ENTIRELY LIES WITH THE SERVICE PROVIDER IN FAILING TO ADHERE TO TWO SUCCESSIVE ASSURED DEPARTURE AND WE ARE NOT BOUND BY ANY OBLIGATION TO CHOOSE FOR 2014 DEPARTURES WITH SUCH AN UNRELIABLE ORGANIZATION AFTER REPEATED DISAPPOINTMENT ON RELIGIOUS FRONT TO ALL O[censored]S.
IT SEEMS IT IS A MODUS OPERANDI BY THE ORGANIZATION TO MAKE EASY MONEY IN GOOD AMOUNTS UNDER THE PLEA OF CANCELLATION & ALSO INTEREST ON LARGE AMOUNTS... EVEN ON SUCH A SACRED RELIGIOUS YATRAS FROM PILGRIMS, which needs a serious check to see that they DO NOT DUPE MORE YATRIS us
PHYSICAL DAMAGE:
We were keen to complete kailash manas yatra during the year 2013 on the occasion of our shashti purti. Although in post 50s and early 60s, we have been preparing mentally and physically to take on the yatra hardships from last one year. It is a UTTER shock and disappointment on religious front to all o[censored]s for nor able to make it, since other friends and relatives, who have booked through other agents have completed the Yatra successfully on same schedules.
Economic
Rs 3, 16, 000 paid on 22 Apr 13 are locked up and the service providers claiming it to be a cancellation, although repeated total failure is from their side . Thus, the organization wants to swallow Rs 80, 000( rs 20, 000 per head)for No FAULT O[censored]S.
The refund is being postponed under various pleas from Sept to Oct and now to Jan 14 to make more interest from poor yatris.
THE AGONY WE HAVE IN NOT BEING ABLE TO MAKE IT ON YATRA IN 2013 IS FURTHER COMPOUNDED WITH SUCH A DIRTY MOTIVES OF THE SERVICE PROVIDER.
It is true . Nepal tourisn(www.nepaltourism.net) is cheating people. We are suferring from the same problem. We have booked for Kailash yatra on July 2012 and still waiting for the refund from them. They are duping people.
