Nestaway Technologies — charging absurd late payment charges for nothing

On 8th march, i received a mail saying late payment charges have been added to my dashboard. Got in touch with the customer care service the same day, but didn’t get any useful feedback so i went ahead and raised a ticket on the 10th of march (Sc_[protected]. That ticket was closed on april 17th saying that “the charges have been waived off and the same will reflect on my dashboard”. I assumed that the issue was resolved and nestaway had rightfully waived off the charges since they were anyway invalid. Later i found out that nestaway hadn’t waived them off. Earlier i used to get a mail notifying me about the additional charges that were getting added every morning but since the ticket was closed, i stopped getting the mail but the charges were still accumulating on a daily basis. On may 21st, when i realised what nestaway was doing, i raised a ticket for further clarification. I got a call from suresh kumar where he stated that i was still bound to pay the charges that were due. I want to know, why was i told that the charges will be waived of[censored]nder ticket sc_02205154? Following the same he went on to tell me that because of non-payment i will have to pay the amount that was due. He concluded the call stating that he will investigate the issue and take an appropriate resolution. I got a resolution on 27th may stating that it was an old service and they couldn’t dig up information so ill still must pay up. Upon receiving the clarification, i paid up the charges. Nestaway has slyly hidden all the service requests from my dashboard. I have no access to the requests i have raised. There were three charges that were falsely stated: 1. Material cost: i purchased the material myself. I raised a ticket the first time i was charged for the material. It got resolved without any concrete resolution. 2. Service charge : this was what i availed for fan repair. The nestaway technican who came just dusted off the dust on my fan and charged me rs.250 cash. He told me nestaway has changed their policy and was now asking the cutomer to directly pay cash. I trusted him and handed out rs.250. Later i was charged for the same on the dashboard. I raised a ticket for this as well which got closed without any resolution. 3. Move out charge: the house im staying is a three bhk apartment. One of the roommate form one of the rooms had moved out and all o[censored]s were charged rs.300. We don’t share the same room or the same washroom. There was no service done by nestaway for which they charged the amount. There is no clarification as to why we were charged that sum. I understand that it was my mistake to not take a recipt for the 250 i paid the man. But the reason for choosing nestaway was they had a sense of safety relating to their brand. If i have to be so cautious while staying at house provided by nestaway, i’m seriously reconsidering my decision. For every service we get a recipt on the dashboard. I was expecting the same for this service as well. Nestaway provides home. Home is a place o[censored]tmost safety. If i get this feeling of being duped, i don’t feel safe anymore and would strongly not recommend nestaway to anybody in the future.in conclusion, i raised a ticket as soon as the charges showed up on the my dashboard, be it the service or the fine. I received clarification on the payment as late as 27th may and i immediately paid up after. Please understand that rs.1075 is not a huge amount for someone who regularly pays the rent on the first of every month (You can check my payment history). But the amount that’s piled up as fine is a lot and its completely preposterous to expect me to pay it. Kindly find a resolution to this issue at the earliest and drop off the charges. P. S.
