Nestaway Technologies — Manipulation in the agreement leading to fraud. | |
As a flat owner in Mumbai, I wanted to ensure that my flat is in safe hands which shaped my decision to avail the services provided by Nestaway, but unfortunately this company proved this wrong. They have manipulated the words and phrases in the agreement to convey something that is the exact opposite of what they actually mean. Note that it is only when the agreement is to be closed do they "explain" what they have written. On following up with them due to the misunderstandings, our calls and emails go unanswered; this behavior of theirs clearly hints at a malpractice done from their side. There was no clear explanation from the team at the time of signing. For instance, they have used words like "former" but have nowhere mentioned which part are they particularly referring to. This lead to further confusion in terms of the security deposit provided. At the time of signing they were to provide us (the flat owners) with Rs.1, 32, 000 which they did. Nevertheless, they assured us with a written clause in the agreement that states that we are supposed to get the amount that is incurred from the recovery cost (i.e cleaning, damage after the tenants leave the flat). For which they needed us to send them proper receipts of the costs incurred (via email) which we did. But the company now refuses to pay that amount and raises a dispute going against the agreement.
