Nestaway Technologies — Non-Refund of Security Deposit Property ID: 330288

To Whom It May Concern,

This is a formal complaint against Nestaway Technologies Pvt. Ltd. concerning the failure to refund my security deposit of ₹16, 500 for the tenancy at Property ID: 330288, Flat 201A, Hyderabad, which concluded on May 2, 2025.

Summary of the Issue:

I have fulfilled all my obligations as a tenant, including the settlement of all utility bills, payment of an early move-out charge of ₹6, 000, and proper handover of the property with no damages beyond normal wear and tear. As per our agreement, the security deposit was due within 7–14 business days of my move-out. Despite this, the deposit has not been refunded, and no justification for withholding it has been provided.

Timeline of Failed Resolution Attempts:

1. Prior to July 20, 2025: I made multiple attempts to resolve this via the customer care helpline and the property manager, all of which resulted in unfulfilled promises of a callback.

2. July 20, 2025 I sent a final written demand via email, detailing all facts and formally requesting the refund.
* Response I received a call from Nestaway shortly after. As I was busy, I requested they call me back in the evening between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM, which they agreed to in writing via email. This callback never happened

3. July 24, 2025 I received another call from Nestaway, which I missed as I was not near my phone.
* Follow-up Action I immediately tried calling back the number they had used, but the call would not connect, making it impossible for me to re-establish contact.

4. Ongoing Issue: In their email responses, Nestaway has repeatedly stated that "This thread is closed" and redirected me to the same customer care channels that have already proven ineffective. This action effectively shuts down communication without resolving the core issue.

Grounds for Complaint

* Breach of Contract Failure to refund the security deposit within the contractually stipulated timeframe (Clause 2 of the Leave & License Agreement).
* Deficiency in Service A clear pattern of non-responsiveness, including failing to make a promised callback and using an unreachable phone number for contact.
* Unfair Trade Practice: Closing communication threads without resolution and forcing the customer into a loop of ineffective support channels, all while wrongfully withholding funds.
* Mental Anguish: The sustained lack of resolution and the company's evasive actions have caused significant and undue stress.

Relief Sought:

I demand the immediate and full refund of my security deposit of ₹16, 500.

This situation demonstrates a clear failure on Nestaway's part to adhere to its contractual obligations and provide a basic level of customer service. My attempts to cooperate and communicate have been met with broken promises and dead ends. I have all necessary documentation to proceed with a formal case before the appropriate consumer protection authorities.
