move out / painting charges

Hey Nestaway,
I have been charged rupees 15000 as painting charges and i raised complaint over that mean while freshly i received a 6000 rupees bill as a move out charges. First decide and then let me know how much more you would want to loot me.. just because your company is running in losses doesn't mean you will charge anything!! I've approached a lawyer regarding this. Lets see how it goes.. now i'm least concerned about the money...

my booking cancellation refund

I Tamaghna Mukherjee, mobile number [protected], new to Bangalore had booked a room in Sharath Nest Subramanyapura Bangalore-560062
and cancelled within 24 hours. It showed me the option to cancel my move out on the app and even asked for move out feedback. After that I called the customer care multiple times to ask for my refund status.They confirmed that my cancellation request was successful and a refund has been initiated. But...

internal transfer issue

I wanted to internally transfer from a shared room to a private room in a nestaway run property but the "only profit minting" corporate kept beating around the bush on the progress and made me wait for a month and eventually ended up giving to shared occupants, hence minting profit. Their houses are ill-kept, no maintenance, they don't even paint the room/house before handing over to the tenant. Horrible experience!!...

onboarding charges and security deposit refund while leaving house

I recently 1st dec 2018 shifted in house though nestaway and the contact person naveen - [protected] and anu - [protected], when i talk to him initially he told me i have to pay 4000 rs for on-boarding charges which is not refundable while vacating and that money for painting and cleaning stuff. And 2 month rent (50k) deposite need to pay + along with 1 month rent (25k) advance. While vacating i will get full 2 month rent (50k) deposit back...

@NestawayHomes is the WORST rental service out there. I moved into a so-called 'fully furnished' flat on 15th Sept, after confirming with their area manager Mr. Banu Prakash. They took a non-refundable convenience charge of 35K, and what did I get? A NIGHTMARE! Filthy house, broken appliances, fungus-covered mattress and curtains – absolutely NOTHING was in working order. Despite discussing this for weeks, they delivered a garbage dump of a flat! The refrigerator was broken, the gas stove was old, TV and washing machine were dysfunctional – everything was a mess!

We had to pay from our own pockets to fix things like deep cleaning, replacing remotes, and even renting a new bed and mattress. It's been over 1.5 months and they still haven't reimbursed us! Mr. Banu is the most unprofessional person, making false promises to the owner and lying about extra maintenance charges without even consulting us. To top it all off, they let my electricity get cut off because they refused to provide my customer ID for 3 months! I had to pay the bill myself just to get the power back on.

Nestaway is a scam! DO NOT TRUST THEM! I demand this company be shut down immediately. They bleed customers dry while delivering the worst service possible. Avoid @NestawayHomes at all costs!! #ShutDownNestaway #WorstRentalExperience #ScamAlert #NestawayFails"

    On 2nd May 2023, I have deposited 13000 to nestaway as security deposit .

    Before moving out i called nestaway customer care and confirmed if my credits are eligible for refund. I was promised that i would get whole deposit (13000) back along with credits (2000)

    Move out date : 2nd March 2024

    Inspection was done when we were not available at the house and the inspection guy is son out of control that he calls refrigerator as washing machine

    After move out i kept on contacting nestaway customer care for status of security deposit refund. They kept on postponing and ignoring my request

    Nestaway stole 13000 deposit with fake deductions mentioned as repair and maintenance (9000)

    This is straight away stealing from customers

      Hi Team,
      This is very bad experience, I have faced in nestaway, horrible experince, I have deposited an amount of Rs 28600, After 1 month deduction & Cleaning charges, I have to get Rs 7100 but now nestway is not returning back the money. Nestaway customer executive (Anil & Sowmmya etc.) are telling once owner return back the amount we will credit to your account, whereas Owner is not aware of any refund to give to nestaway for credit to Vacating tenant. For Rufund I am feeling like begger & felling sandwich between nestaway & Owner. Customer executive does fake commitment, kindly dont relay on them. Also, 7 to 14 days returning the refund is fake, Same is written in company website. Nestaway office is in HSR layout in banglore, I am feeling like to lodge a FIR under IPC 420 or consumer court.

        I have contracted my house with Nestaway. One of the tenants they got on my property has not paid rent for over 18 months. He has been a tenant for two year's and has not paid rent for majority of the time. The tenant is also causing a lot of nuisance on the property and damaging the house. This has caused significant financial strain on me.

        Per our contractual agreement, Nestaway is obligated to take appropriate legal action against the tenant on my behalf in the event of a default in the payment of rent or other dues. Additionally, Nestaway is expected to accept and respond to any notices from tenants, serve tenancy termination and eviction notices when necessary.

        Regrettably, despite having escalated the tenant's non-payment and inappropriate behavior issues, I have seen no action from Nestaway. I was informed that an eviction notice would be served, but to date, I have not received any copy of such a notice.

        Furthermore, I have been telling the team that the tenant has been making threats of self-harm, causing me immense stress and worry. In addition to the emotional toll, the property has been damaged, adding to the already substantial financial burden.

        I have been sending so many emails but have not got any response.

        I have reached out to Nestaway staff multiple times seeking assistance, but regrettably, no one has responded or taken any meaningful action to address this urgent matter. This lack of response and accountability is deeply disappointing and contrary to the service standards Nestaway claims to uphold.

            Its been more than 1 year that i haven't received my security deposit. They stopped responding and blame game between them and the owner is going on for eternity. ITS MY MONEY i am trying to get back. Had to take personal loan with an interest of 14% as i did not have funds while shifting to new city.

              I was told to pay token+security deposit while i move in. While moving out they dint come for inspection at the right time and they are unnecessarily charging for the items which are not damaged. I have even told them that no items were damaged since i stayed there for only 6 months. they still have to pay me the remaining amout. plz take immediate action on this

                Team I'very tired raising ticket every time.
                I have been wrongly charged with mattress + washroom charges and they contribute a lot. How can you deduct so much., as per request I have made the room video.

                Also mirrors were damaged before we moved in, we had told this to our area manager when we moved in but he never repaired said minor damage.

                You guys don't have proof for anything, still this is a lot.

                    I moved to India on March. I connected with Nestaway, Mumbai on March 28th and found an apartment thr same day in Jogeshwari. However the property manager forced me to take another one in Malad saying that the Jogeshwari apartment will get ready only on May. He promised that an internal transfer free of cost will be done for me. So I agreed to move there

                    On April 21st I got to know from the neighbors that the apartment is getting demolished. When asked Nestaway refused to take responsibility. I moved out and put in a request for a full refund. It's already been a week. Thei keep giving generic chatbot response that the money is with the "recovery team" and "will " "give an update soon" even with the details of the refund they are giving gross misinformation on the charges they deducted for "maintenance".

                    I've written several emails. No response. They keep asking me to "update" bank details whatever that means.

                    I need help getting my money back!!

                          I Moved to an apartment through Nestaway in Jan 2022, But since Work from home started I came back to my hometown and left my luggage in the apartment, in December 2022 we received a message from nestaway stating that the owner is cancelling their partnership with Nestaway so we have to move out, They informed us that since owner is cancelling his aggreement no charges will be applied to us & rent deposit i.e. 19, 800 will be refunded. But I haven't received any rent Deposit Refund only received 5, 500 something and remaining amount was not refunded yet.The agent which helped with the moving in is not picking my calls or texts.

                            Nestaway is fraud. Our rented flat deposit is with Nestaway and inspite of giving us our deposit back, thay have charged us extra amount as useless maintenance charges which doesn’t even require repair.

                            When we moved in they, the house was jot cleaned/ painted/ We did the cleaning services from our side and yet they are charging 2500 as cleaning and 15000 as painitng charges which are not justifiable

                              I (Mohan Sunil Lokhande) rented a property from Nestway in May'22 and was supposed to stay there till Apr'23 (attaching the rent agreement). I wanted to move out from Nestway but stay in the same property directly with Owner. My move out was scheduled for 31st Dec'22, I joined with Owner from 1st Jan'23 I have paid rent and deposit, new agreement is also made with Owner. Nestaway has clauses regarding early move-out and painting charges. I haven't moved out early, in fact Nestaway informed me to move out by 20th Dec 22, so early move-out charges are not applicable. Regarding painting charges I am staying same house, there is not even single penny spent by Nestaway on the house painting or maintenance, so they can't charge me for this. I have paid Dec'22 full rent to Nestaway and one deposit is with Nestaway. Nestaway need to return the deposit as there are no early move out charge or painting charge.

                                Rent for the above property has not been settled by the Company as on date. The Relationship Manager gives vague reply whenever I call her.
                                I also do not hold security Deposit for the Property let out.
