Nestaway is fraud. Our rented flat deposit is with Nestaway and inspite of giving us our deposit back, thay have charged us extra amount as useless maintenance charges which doesn’t even require repair.

When we moved in they, the house was jot cleaned/ painted/ We did the cleaning services from our side and yet they are charging 2500 as cleaning and 15000 as painitng charges which are not justifiable

    I (Mohan Sunil Lokhande) rented a property from Nestway in May'22 and was supposed to stay there till Apr'23 (attaching the rent agreement). I wanted to move out from Nestway but stay in the same property directly with Owner. My move out was scheduled for 31st Dec'22, I joined with Owner from 1st Jan'23 I have paid rent and deposit, new agreement is also made with Owner. Nestaway has clauses regarding early move-out and painting charges. I haven't moved out early, in fact Nestaway informed me to move out by 20th Dec 22, so early move-out charges are not applicable. Regarding painting charges I am staying same house, there is not even single penny spent by Nestaway on the house painting or maintenance, so they can't charge me for this. I have paid Dec'22 full rent to Nestaway and one deposit is with Nestaway. Nestaway need to return the deposit as there are no early move out charge or painting charge.

      Rent for the above property has not been settled by the Company as on date. The Relationship Manager gives vague reply whenever I call her.
      I also do not hold security Deposit for the Property let out.

        I moved into the property on 1st dec the rent and maintenance have been increased within my 3months of stay. The increase in rent was notified on 20th feb and asked us to reply and move out with 1st mar. Now as I have scheduled my move out the team mentioned that 45 days notice period will be charged if I don't serve the notice period am not moving out on my own wish am moving out because of the bad service provided by nestaway and when in the mail nestaway gave us only 10 days to move out then why should I serve notice period or pay charges. Is the rules only imply to us no rules for the company exploiting and harassing the tenants

          I had paid 40k as security deposit while moving in to Nestaway property. While moving out I was paid only a mere 9k as refund. No response from Nestaway inspite of repeated follow ups.

            The deposit amount is 31250. I vacated the flat on 4th Feb, 2023. It's been a month now still they are not returning my deposit saying that they will return only after the owner returns it to them where as the owner has made it very clear that he is not gonna refund a penny. I did not pay the money to owner I paid it to Nestwawy so whatever issues going on between them is not my concern. why am I being suffered because of this. Talking to customer care is like talking to a robot. They keep on repeating the same thing "We're are sorry for the inconvenience please be patient".

              Nestaway is charging maintenance charges for the amenities not available, deducting amount from the deposit amount by creating fake report
              Deducting 1500 + 300 for balcony sliding window, which is not available in the flat

                I was a tenant of Nestaway. After I left their flat, they are not returning my security deposit amount of Rs 12681

                Its been 2.5 years still same problem

                I vacated the flat on[protected]. They were supposed to return the security deposit to me within a week of vacating.(screen shot of there policy attached)

                They also made false status on their portal that the security deposit was with the owner. I also tried to contact the owner. But he is also says, it is pending with Nestaway, not with him.

                I also raised a ticket with the Nestaway team september 2020

                But they are not replying since almost 1 month and are not returning the money.

                Now, other than this amount, I also request to impose some heavy fine for the case of mental torture on NESTWAY.

                Hello Deepak, As per the terms, the rental agreement is between you and the owner, with whom the deposit resides. At the time of booking, we collect the deposit from you and transfer it to the owner. Upon your move out, we submit a settlement report to the owner and advise any deductions according to the house condition, the status o[censored]tility bills, and policy-related charges. Post this, the owner is required to refund your amount after deductions as appropriate. We are following up with the owner on your behalf and unfortunately, he is taking time to refund it.                   I have been told that the first month rent will be included in the deposit and when I opened the application it's showing that I need to pay 43650/- including the rent for the month of February. Now your agent is not picking up the call and your customer support team doesn't helped us. I already paid the token amount and when I asked to refund the token money they are refusing to pay the amount. Such a bad experience with newstaway.

                    I moved out of the nestaway property on 05th Aug 2020.
                    Till date, i haven't received my security deposit. I have called the customer care more than 30 times and raised multiple tickets but still there is no response.

                    Every six months some one from nestaway calls me and says that the security deposit is with the owner and they will refund my security deposit only after owner pays back to nestaway. I paid to nestaway, I still don't get why nestaway is dragging owner in between this when I had an agreement with nestaway, not the owner.

                    Please do help me in returning my security deposit.

                    It's been more than 2 years and 6 months and still I have not received my security deposit.

                      My name is Naufal, I have searching a room for a week and I am one of the old customer before covid. And recently I came to Chennai I’ve been visiting NestAway rooms because I like the rooms cheaper and affordable one and they treat well and good. But now it’s totally different I called the area manager[protected] he said all the rooms were full, but I can see the rooms in NestAway application on past 3 days but still he saying that room is full, and he said 1 person visited the house Shridaran nest and Gokul nest flat no 3H he will confirm the house by today evening 7 o’clock and probed that is there any rooms available for Rs:[protected]. He said no and there is rooms available for Rs:8000. So I don’t need that kind of rooms and bed. I didn’t expected from NestAway such a things, it’s really a disappointment for me.

                        Move out policy, alert, inspection delay

                        Want to raise complaint on 2 topics as below:

                        Move out intimation policy : There’s a policy for tenants that the move out intimation should be given 45 days in advance. I have few reservations on this:
                        If there’s already an agreement signed of the end date/moving out date, then should we really have this clause, process if at all the tenant is continuing the stay till agreement ends.

                        I am a tenant in the gated community so I made a Moveout on December due to some personal issues. I need to cancel my move out so I called to customer care regarding the cancellation of moveout, They told me that if the another tenant has booked a property then I need two move from the property. So after two days I waited and again i gave a call the customer care service. They told me that the dashboard will be updated.Another tenant has booked your property so I have seen the same property which is located in a gated community. I like that property thought to take internal transfer for the confirmation I made a call to customer service regarding the cancellation of the moveout than they told the cancellation will be done and dashboard will be updated at the night or tomorrow morning then the dashboard is not updated again i call to the customer service. They told me that the there is some technical issues in the dashboard if any of the customer service or the property manager asked you to moveout from the property you can say that moveout got cancelled il stay here nestway people told me about this . Then I need to stay here only, yesterday I called them regarding dashboard update they said you need to moveout another tenant has booked the property the property which I liked got booked by another person now where should I go . I need to stay here in this property I am waiting for there response from 20days they are wasting my time giving false statement regarding cancellation of moveout

                          I have checked out from a nest away property in HSR tranquil layout on aug-2020. They are yet to return my deposit amount of forty thousand. It is more than 2 years and not a single rupee is returned.

                          For my every remainder, I was told that the owner is not returning money to them and hence I should wait. I have lost hope of getting back my money. Please stay away from these company and keep your hard-earned money safe.

                            Despite vacating the property a month ago they are not returning our deposits! Moreover we are being charged for the paid bills and high end cleaning expenses which are more than the local or any professional cleaning charges. They give excuse that the owner has not released the deposit while we have received the mail from owner that the payment has been released. They are mentally harassing us girls.

                              Dear Team,

                              I am a tenant living at HD Impression Nestaway, Kharadi Flat no 301. I am raising a complaint late since I did not want to create an issue unnecessarily.

                              1st incident happened on first day when the room that I moved into was not clean and I informed him to clean him and he said it’s not his job.

                              2nd incident happened when he complained to my friend living on the first floor about me throwing something out of the window without getting in touch with me or consulting me or asking. He didn’t even give my friend the opportunity to speak to me but directly accused me of throwing things.

                              3rd incident - he confronted my guest without informing me or getting in touch with me ( thrice ), harassing my guest who was visiting.

                              4th incident - UTMOST IMPORTANT - I was locked out of my door though he had the key, he didn’t open the door for me.
                              He made us wait for more than 1 hour ( harassing us, not speaking directly ) and then took my friend the open my door.
                              Post which when I questioned him that why didn’t he open the door, his answer was “ ye aapki aakhri warning hai “ - felt like he was giving me a threat since I was locked out.

                              5th incident - the garbage incident when I told him also - other people have kept their garbage. Ask them to remove theirs and I will remove mine. Post which he again said “ aap nahi karoge na Toh hum dekh lenge “

                              Coming to the major points which I never meant to complain about but since this was going above my head - he’s drinking on 5th floor, he misbehaves, he speaks rudely, he has no manners, he has threatened me. He doesn’t clean the floor time to time, My room wasn’t clean when I entered.

                              Please ensure this behaviour is stopped.

                                Have been statying with nestaway when ever have opted for Work from home due to personal and family reasons have observed every time some construction or plumbing or elctrical maintaineance work happens it could be reason nest away is cheap serviced apartments and could be intimidating my profile as have stayed abroad and returned to india, and there may be high profile clients and customer data in my work profile and data governance laws may not be abided to local jurisdictions, as local police station background check is done as we submit form at time joining.

                                Is this could be case with many people service apartment may carry out works due to grudge or envy as discrimination on region, caste, opinion, merit where some ACT's have been not fully applied as per EU regulations which would have been abided earlier in our Statys and compliant and could be over nestaway guidelines and adherence to Regional goverment policies.

                                  I booked a bed through Nestaway, first they showed that to block a bed you need to pay only 1300 but when I tried to do that they asked to me the payment of 2 months rent and Nestaway charges i.e. total of around 16K instead of 1300.
                                  Again they asked to pay 2K for rent and later again they are asking to pay another 2K for some security deposit whereas almost 17K are already paid without stepping foot in the house yet.

                                    I have recently vacated from nestaway flat. Nestaway holds the deposit of 17700 from me and as soon as i vacated they gave me a report card in that they are falsely charging me 156000 INR stating that i have pending rent with them, whereas i paid all the rent till the last month and in my dashboard everything was cleared and when i call customer care there is no response

                                    2. They are charging me of some light and TV remote not available whereas nestaway themselves not provided that to us. when i ask them they are ignoring me
