[Resolved] Nestaway Technologies — not returning back my security deposit money | |||
Hi, I rented apartment from zenify in year 2017 with the below deal: 1. Rent will be including maintenance + club house amount (28500) 2. Deposit of 130000 was taken 3. Electricity will be paid by the tenant After staying in the flat for 4 months we got to know that zenify has not paid maintenance of aprox 70000 & light and water supply for the flat was cut. After arguing with zenify for more then a month they paid the amount and asked us to pay the maintenance on their behalf and cut the money from the rent. When i moved into flat, their was existing electricity bill of 900 which i paid and zenify was supposed to return back that money. Later i got to know for cub house also they need to pay approx. 20000. Zenify told me to pay 2500 and deduct the amount from rent. After jun 2018 zenify got merged with nest away and account was transferred to nestaway. Since then i was asking them to update my account with the correct details but nest away did not update the amount. Now in my flat their was a water blockage and for two months we didn't get water in the house except only in one bathroom. But then it was hard to stay in flat without water so i requested to move out. For 15 days they did not respond until i followed up so many times. For above they asked me to deduct the maintenance from rent. (Here point is i am already paying maintenance on their behalf) and asking not to pay it. Till this point also they did not rectify the account issues. Now i left the house and they said until i hand over the keys they can not the seattle the balance (They are still holding to my 130000 rupee og security deposit). I handed over they key and they returned only 76000 out of 130000. Now they are denying the claim of me paying the maintenance amount of 50000 for two year. As it was discussed that i will pay maintenance and deduct same from my rent. I had given them all the receipt and details many times. But they are not ready to acknowledge. I tried to contact the ceo of the organisation. But he also is not responding. I have all the email proves for each conversation with zenify and nestaway. They had to return 20000 to me. I had moved out of Nestaway Flat Suman S, HNR Layout, Kasavanahalli, Bangalore 560035 on June 31st
It's been 2.5 months now that I have not received my security deposit of Rs 31000. I have raised 2 tickets on this #cc_08407959 & #cc_08432426 with Nestaway and they are yet to respond to my query

Rahul have you received your refund? I am a part of a group currently moving to file a lawsuit against nestaway on facebook If you haven't join us sign a petition against them.

They claimed that i had not made payment since july 2018. If that is the case how they let me stay in the flat for so long?
I have bank statement against this claim. I have email statement of every communication. They are refusing to meet me and customer care says they can not help me in this regard.
