New India Assurance — unfair settling of medical bill of my son | |
Policy#760403/34/16/25/00000236 For the hospitalisation of my son. I presented a bill for Rs 49, 495/-. Settled amount was Rs 712/- Unsettled amount is Rs 48, 783/- It was noticed that New India Assurance has outsourced the settling of the medical claims to a third party private agency (Medi Assist Insurance TPA Pvt Ltd). I do feel that this agency is not settling the claims fairly. We do feel that as a policy holder, we are being cheated by NIA in settling the medical claims. Hence we request New India Assurance top management to look into this matter or I will be forced to approach the Jurisdictional Insurance Ombudsman. Was this information helpful? | |
