[Resolved]  Next Retail India Ltd. — Irresponsible behavior of next franchise

I had purchased a videocon split A/C from your outlet at pathanamthitta, bldg no 23/393, johns complex, ground floor, pin 689645, vide invoice no [protected] dated 12 nov 2013. It was installed by your technicians but it never cooled the room and thus did not serve it's intended purpose. Even though the store was contacted many times no action was taken to rectify the defect. After almost six months of repeated complaints the store sent there technicians on 24 June 2014. They said that the copper tubes connecting the indoor to the outdoor unit has worn out and the gas leaked. They charged Rs 800 for replacing the same. When this matter was reported to the store, the manager the cost has to be born by the customer and they cannot do anything about it. He then gave the customer care number of videocon which was also not correct( number).
Even after installing low quality copper tubes at the first place and not responding to our repeated to request to rectify the fault, the store has charged Rs 800 now. The A/C could not be used during the peak summer time. If customer satisfaction is in your priority list this is not the way your stores should treat your customers.
In view of the above you are requested to instruct your concerned store to cancell the rs 800 repair charges and tender an apology for this irresponsible behavior failing which we will be forced to take legal action. Action taken in this regard may pl be communicated to me for my info
