[Resolved]  Nobroker — Booking Amount refund not provided

I booked a flat for rent on Thursday (7th March) at Sumadhura Anandam (C block, 214) and paid a token amount of Rs.10, 000 via NoBroker app. The link was provided by NoBroker RM, Sumukha after confirming me that the owner has agreed to the terms. However, when I spoke with the owner (Santosh), he said he never agreed to the terms of rent with NoBroker and he isn't willing to proceed. I have raised this issue with NoBroker on the same day, but i haven't received even a single callback even after raising this via different channels (email, customer care, relationship manager, etc.). PS: I'm also a "premium" member as i have purchased their Relax plan. Post this incident, my relax plan has also suddenly expired within 5 days of purchasing it! Original validity of the plan was 45 days.

Despite multiple requests over the past 5 days, I haven't even received a callback from my relationship manager (Deepak) or from owner relationship manager (Sumukha / Mahalaxmi) who had sent me the payment link.

Hi There, we always accept the token amount from tenant once they finalize the property which will also be communicated to the owner. Yes, i thought that the property has been finalized and that's why I had paid the token amount. Why did the owner refuse to go ahead with the deal if NoBroker had confirmed the same with owner?? The most frustrating part is that there has been no response from NoBroker concerned RMs/customer care for last 5 days. I have tried calling, emailing, chatting all possible channels but all i got is that "we will arrange a callback from concerned team". However, I never received a callback from the "concerned" team yet. I have described my issue to around 6-7 different customer care executives/call operators. They just say that they have alerted the concerned team and i will get a call back (in 2 mins/2hours/4hours). But all these were just false promises as no one has called me back yet.
