NoBroker Customer Care's response Hi Kiran, we constantly strive to provide our customers with a smooth & hassle-free rental agreement service. For any reason, if there is any deviation, we would certainly like to have an opportunity to make it right. However, we have highlighted it to our team so that we can discuss this further.

Updated by Kiran S Kale Hi Kavya,
Thanks for your reply but I notice that you haven't read my mail carefully.
1) You are still claiming that it was due to lockdown where I already provided evidence that it was not due to lockdown. So please read my mail carefully. I have a few simple questions for you .
a) How could a truck be impacted by lockdown when it collected things well before lockdown?
b) How could a truck reach Delhi in lockdown? It reached Delhi on 27th Apr.
c) Till 19 May, the truck was not able to come to Gurgaon but after paying an extra amount, it reached my home in 2 hrs.
d) You are still claiming that you delivered things when it's not your team's effort as I was given a chance till 18th May to them and they failed. Hence on 19th May, I took control and spoke to the vendor, discussed the extra amount(which he asked) and got the delivery in 2 hrs. Your team doesn't even know when the truck reached Delhi (they were trying to fool me by giving a false date but when I showed evidence then they were silent ).
e) How could another vendor able to deliver things in the same duration without any trouble?
f) Why was my single call not forwarded to seniors above Priyanka and Kuldeep. Why was your executive getting scared to forward calls above Priyanka and Kuldeep? Is this normal in Nobroker?
2) I provided Rs. 42K bills which is due to your delay. Why should I take that burden on me? You can collect those groceries which I purchased as it's already extra in my home.
3) You offered Rs. 3500/- as compensation, Can I get your calculation of how you derived this amount? I am not all accepting this amount as it is not justified.
4) I did ask about your physical address and POC details. It's too late now and I don't think that I am going to get a proper response from Nobroker and have to take action in a legal way. I have already seen the behaviour of the Nobroker team and management and hence I have to approach consumer court along with all evidence.
Regards,
Kiran Kale

Updated by Kiran S Kale Hi Kiran Kale,
Greetings to You!!!
We do agree the truck was moved to Delhi on 27th April, But as you are probably aware about the current pandemic situation, we had to hold the goods at the warehouse. and due to lock down less staff was working at our office which has resulted in overload in work and based on the continuous request we have delivers the goods at you place on 19th.
There was no any extra charges taken by team, as T2 balance was pending from your end which has demanded, but it was agreed and you has paid 2500 amount as police charges . We have wave offed the T2B balance as well.
Though the delay is due to the lock down imposed because of the on-going pandemic, our team is ready to compensate Rs.3500/- for the delay and unhappy experience.
Kindly share the cancelled cheque, so that we can process the refund of Rs.3500/-.
