I am writing this to raise a formal complaint regarding the extremely poor service and unfulfilled promises related to the NoBroker Tenant Relax Plan I purchased on 18th May 2025. I paid a total amount of ₹3, 538.82 including GST for the plan, expecting professional support in my house-hunting process in Chennai. However, my experience has been deeply disappointing and mentally distressing.
I am a Tamil speaker residing in Chennai, and before I purchased the plan, your sales team assured me that there were plenty of properties available in my preferred locality and that I would be assisted by Tamil-speaking relationship managers.
But right after payment:
I was told the office was closed and my plan would only be reviewed the next day at 10:30 AM.
I was not assigned an active relationship manager immediately.
When I called repeatedly, your helpline staff kept saying that no Tamil-speaking agents were available.
Even after repeated requests, my relationship manager was not replaced.
I was promised services like:
50 verified contacts
Instant property alerts
Locality expert support
Rent negotiation support
None of these were actually provided to me.
Even worse, whenever I found a property and shared it with the manager, he would either not respond or fix a meeting where the owners didn’t answer or told me the house was rented out months ago. This clearly shows that your app is filled with outdated or fake listings.
Every time I raised a complaint, I was told a supervisor would call me in 2–4 hours. Not a single supervisor has contacted me till now, despite me following up multiple times. The entire process has wasted my time, caused mental stress, and left me without a single house visit even after 10+ days of paying.
This experience has been nothing short of cheating and mental harassment
I am now demanding the following:
Full refund of ₹3, 538.82
Compensation of ₹30, 000 for mental harassment, emotional distress, and wasted time
Immediate action against the false claims made during the sale process
If I do not receive a resolution within 7 working days, I will be taking this matter further by:
Filing a legal complaint in the Consumer Court (District Forum)
Sharing this issue on public platforms and social media for awareness
I request urgent attention to this matter and expect a responsible and respectful resolution.
