Nobroker — highly unsatisfactory service from no-broker

I chose nobroker services for shifting my households from Pune to Thiruvarur, Tamilnadu.

The shifting happened on 26th of Jan 2025. During booking the time committed was 8-10 days. But after all shifting and loading is done, Ankit (customer care executive) told me that 8-10 days is not possible. At this point of time i was given no other option other than accepting 10-12 days. And it was not explicitly mentioned that these days are calculated from 27th Jan, one day after shifting.

Since then i kept checking with chat support for tracking my status. The tracking system showed 4th Feb as delivery date. And it was not updating status also properly. For example, even after 1 week, it didn’t update if my stuffs reached warehouse.

Yesterday (3rd Feb) morning, i connected with chat support, they said that it will be delivered in 2-3 days.

Yesterday evening 6:30pm, i received message that the stuffs reached destination address. I was happy and planned stuffs for shifting. Refer screenshot for the message

Today (4th feb), i was eagerly waiting for the delivery. I called delivery partner (Mr.Ravindra). He told me that the stuffs are still at Pune warehouse. I was confused, shocked and perplexed. Then i reached out to chat support for call back.

Now the commitment i got from them is 9th Feb as partner will take 4 days from tomorrow for transit.

I have been staying in hotel with family since 10 days but i am surprised to know the stuffs didn’t even leave pune after 9 days.

Every day delay is an additional cost for me.

Now i am concerned with how nobroker responded to me during this service at so many levels.

1. I booked after 8-10 days commitment, as per this i expected that i should receive between 2nd to 4th feb. But after packing and loading is done, i was forced to accept 10-12 days. Literally it’s like strangulation because the alternative would mean paying additional costs for unpacking and unloading as per Ankit.

2. So as per 10-12 days deal, i should expect between 4th to 6th Feb. But i am getting update from customer care team as 9th Feb as delivery date.

3. The date is calculated from one day after shifting which was never explicitly mentioned or informed to me during the call with Ankit. It’s a huge miscommunication.

4. The parcel was at Pune till 3rd or 4th of Feb since 26th Jan. Almost 10 days. If i had known this, i could have done my shifting on 2nd or 3rd Feb only.

5. The tracking website didn’t update properly. It didn’t even update if the stuffs reached Pune warehouse or not.

6. I got message that stuffs reached destination on 3rd Feb. I realise now that it’s wrong error message, but there is no effort from customer team to correct this error message and give me updated communication.

7. Yesterday when i spoke to chat support, they told 2-3 days. As per that, it should be 5th to 6th Feb by your very own team. But one day after i am getting 9th Feb as delivery date.

8. Giving all benefits of doubt to Nobroker team, and calculate 10-12 days from 27th Jan, i should receive my stuffs by 7th of February. Everyday delay is an additional cost to me.

9. It feels like you guys are closing the system within 7-9 working days because that’s what was committed during booking. The message about stuffs reaching destination even though it didn’t and delivery date showing feb 4th, even though it’s not.

10. I keep getting justification that the destination is remote location. Thiruvarur is administrative head quarters of Thiruvarur district. No matter what, it was made very clear during booking and 8-10 days commitment was basis that.

I need your intervention to help me with proper resolution. I am looking for any possible support to help me get the parcel by 6th feb (12 days from 26th Jan). Also, if it’s getting delayed, i would like to be compensated for my added expenses. Happy to share my hotel and food bills to you.
