[Resolved] Nobroker — mover and packers cancelled the shifting, money not refunded | |||
I booked movers and packers on may 23, 2019 to schedule my house shifting on may 30, 2019 at 2 pm for 2 bhk (Customer ref # pm-249478) from jalahalli to iisc, mathikare. The vendor is srs movers and packers. The transportation arrived at 2 pm on that day. It was specifically mentioned while booking that the shifting is for 2 bhk considering the load. However, we are only shifting 1 queen size bed with other household items on may 30, 2019, to iisc, mathikare. Another king bed & 3 door wardrobe was booked with another mover/packer by nobroker to a different destination on may 31, 2019 (To whitefield) which was executed successfully. On may 30, 2019, without any communication, the driver and his boys left my apartment and did not execute the work. I have been continuously calling srs and no broker to arrange the shifting as the booking was confirmed (Token amount of rs 600 paid on 23/5/19 and insurance was also paid. We have been requesting them to shift as much as possible within their vehicle that had arrived. We already had our personal 15 boxes. We need another 15-20 boxes which they got already as per the quotation. The vendor kept giving false hope that they are arranging the transport and shifting will be done and ultimately they refused to do shifting by the end of the day which they informed me at 7 pm. We could not find any alternative mover & packer for that may month-end. Unfortunately, i had to bear the huge loss due to unprofessional execution from no-broker side. The movement manager mr nadeem and no-broker team have never called back although i have called them for 1 month for a refund and compensation due to my heavy loss. They avoided the call saying "concern team will call back". The concerned team till now have not called me. This is the most pathetic situation and most unprofessional attitude. I had to suffer a lot from this non-coordination and unprofessional service from no-broker. They have taken the money (Booking amount rs 600 and insurance rs 500. Total rs 1100.
