I feel compelled to share my recent experience with NoBroker, and caution anyone considering their Packers and Movers service. What was promised as a “professional and hassle-free move” turned into an absolute nightmare.
Here’s just a glimpse of what went wrong:
My Amaron inverter and UPS (worth ₹26, 000) were damaged beyond repair due to careless handling.
Washing machine was damaged, and the outlet pipe was left behind at the old house.
AC installation was delayed, and the unit was also damaged during uninstallation. Despite endless follow-ups, the assigned mechanic never returned. I was ultimately forced to arrange the installation on my own.
Not a single item was properly packed, despite being charged extra for single-layer protection.
The move (just 1 km apart!) took all day due to poor planning and a vehicle that was too small. The last load happened past 9:30 PM.
We spent the 3 night without AC with a baby at home and couldn’t even open windows due to mosquitoes. The stress this caused is beyond words.
We reached out to NoBroker support with photos and a detailed explanation of all the damages. That was, again, a bad decision on our part, hoping they would help. Instead, it became an even bigger disappointment. Their team refused to compensate for the losses.
The so-called “Damage Assurance” mentioned on their website is completely misleading, and the term “Verified Professionals” is also a false claim.
This is not just poor service, it’s a complete breach of customer trust.
Sharing this to warn others: Don’t fall for flashy ads and false promises. Your valuables and peace of mind deserve better.
