[Resolved]  Nobroker — packer & mover

My movement was planned on 29th june 1:00pm, however no any either call or email from both either from no broker or packer & mover till time. Even though my movement was not executed, no broker sent me feedback saying movement completed. I made payment of 800 while booking the movement, they are not talking and thinking about refund. However due no broker packer and mover, i was paid extra 7000 to other packer movers to meet timeline, who will pay that amount me? Is there any grievances where i would register complaint or take legal action?

I have faced a similar issue with Nobroker. I was supposed to shift with their services on 29th June. I had paid the advance and they had confirmed. They had also assigned "a manager" to make my shifting seamless. But voila! The movers and packers never showed up.

While I was browsing their site, I got a call from the team offering the services to help with movers and packers. I was impressed and made the payment on Tuesday believing that the experience would be organized and seamless considering NoBroker is a well funded company and not some lala firm.

I had clearly started that I needed the shifting to be done today, 29th June between 8-9 am. I didn't not receive any call from your CS team in the morning. We were ready from 9 and waiting for the shifting vendor of yours. No sign. My husband kept calling the vendor every 1-2 hours only to be told that he is on his way and would reach in 1-2 hours. He kept repeating it.

Meanwhile, I still hadn't recieved a call from your team explaining the delay. I called them in the afternoon, no response. I get a call back "asking me what the issue or concern is". Wow, shouldn't they be telling me that there is some issue, hence the delay and apologize ? None. I informed that the movers haven't arrived yet and the CS lady said she will check with the vendor and call back. She calls and tells me he is on the way and should reach in 1 hour. This would be around 2-3. Still no scene of the movers coming to help us shift. I felt something was fishy and raised a complaint on Twitter and the social media team replied after an hour or so.

Iqbal calls me post 4 pm asking me if the vendor reached. Now shouldn't the team be abreast of the whereabouts of the movers ? When I vented out my concern that we've been waiting from 8 am to shift and no one has turned up or havent recieved a solution from the NoBroker manager, he doesn't even have the courtesy to apologize and own up the goo[censored]p, he spoke in a curt and casual tone. No empathy which every CS person needs to have.

I speak to Iqbal again after 5.30. Disappointed, we had booked another vendor with double the price as I didn't recieve any empathy or solution from Nobroker. Talk about customer service ? Zero from Nobroker.

We had decided to shift on 29th at 8 am. If there was going to be a delay, NoBroker had assigned a so called Manager. It was the manager's responsibility to call and communicate on the delay and give a solution. But I recieved no such call . There was nothing but mental stress and torture from Nobroker. We wasted the whole day and ended up wasting both time and money.

Nobroker team showed zero remorse to this situation. I'd like the amount of 6, 350 paid to me as compensation owing to the sheer negligence of your team. There was no value add or service from your customer service team. There was so clueless and Curt on the call.

When I spoke about the compensation, Iqbal curtly said they will only refund the advance of 630 rupees? Why would I need that ? You guys were at fault and spoilt my entire day and wasn't able to shift my house because of NoBroker.
