[Resolved]  Nobroker — Refund of 8171 - On cancellation of Rental Occupancy even before getting a legal document prepared.

I want to bring in to notice that I have had a recent encounter with the so called Indias Best Realty Service Platform Nobroker.com for Tennant Occupancy.
Well I must say they have quite a way to steal money from us, I had recently booked a property in Pune on Rental basis and have followed the procedure as guided by Nobroker, however due to some exigencies I had to opt out from renting the said property.
Point to Note here the Decision on cancellation was made within 12 Hrs of the booking period and there were no Legal Documents prepared from either side nor was a meeting held with the owner for a discussion on the final word about basics and handover of the flat.
Please note there are a lot o[censored]ntold parameters from NoBroker which will impact the customers in the long run when they vacate the premises and deduct a certain amount as damages, this is the way the Nobroker.com functions by stealing from Us.
I was very well greeted and acknowledged on the cancellation part and was assured that the entire amount given to NoBroker.com including the deposit will be given back with a nominal deduction on 199rs as conveyance charge. Amount in total =[protected] token amount) + 3171 (Registration for Rental Agreement). I did reach out to few executives on this part as I had not received any formal communication from NoBroker.com (Executives – Jayesh / Mohd. Ahmed / Diksha) they all have said that the amount will be refunded and there is generally no deductions, but recently their manager Mr. Kaushik Kant has reached out to me saying that token amount is not refundable, when questioned and debated for long he agreed that there is no Such Policy Drafted but since we are providing you a service we will not refund it and you know how a business functions. Clearly an act of stealing money just because a deal did not go through, no curtesy to ask the reason for cancellation, more concerned on retaining the amount. I do hold an email from Miss Diksha that there is no such policy on amount being Non-Refundable and since I had cancelled the decision to rent the property under that case the amount is not Non-Refundable she added. ( You should get the amount refunded) .
Message to all the Customers who are or may be a part of the NoBroker Platform, please ensure that any given amount is Refundable and no charges are liable to be deducted till a legal binding has been made between the tenant & the Owner.
I urge NoBroker.com to refund my entire amount and work upon a loyal and Quality service to be provided to the customers instead of running a secretive stealing organization and isolating people from their directories upon cancellation of any deal .

An executive from NoBroker has discussed with me and said will get back to you upon discussion with peers and a conclusion on the same .

This was done on Sunday. And there is no policy where the deposit will be seized and isn't refundable. This has been agreed by 3 employees and request you to pls initiate the refund of entire amount asap.
