Refer to the subject cited above. A godown of fci (Ardc hajipur) situated at sdo road hajipur was hired in the year 1978 and the godown was de-hired w. E. F 31.01.2017. During the course of de-hiring, fci officer (Depot in-charge) posted at ardc hajipur vide letter no. Fsd/hajipur/electricity bill/2016-17 dated 25.01.2017 informed that electricity bill (Amountrs. 2, 67, 139/-) dated 15.08.2015 in respect of ardc hajipur is still pending. Subsequently, on the receipt of letter alongwithelectricity bill, query was made from depot in-charge to clarify the reason behind delayed submission of electricity bill to fci district office hajipur. Depot in-charge vide letter no. Fci/fsd-hajipur/electricity bill/16-17 dated 16.03.2017 informed that nbpdcl has submitted incorrect bill to the depot and after several persuasion nbpdcl has taken back the old electricity meter for disposal of his complaint. However, the nbpdcl has re-submitted the incorrect bill againin jan-17 for the period up to 30.08.2015. (Copy enclosed as annexure i) Further, he also apprise that several correspondence has been done with nbpdcl regarding the submission of correct bill as there was no electricity in the godown since june 2009. Request was also made to do proper investigation in order to submit the correct bill. (Letters enclosed as annexure ii) but not any tangible actions were taken by nbpdcl for rectification of the bill/connection/disconnection of electricity supply in godown. Accordingly, this office vide letter no. Genl.13 (2)/part-i/2012-16/2815 dated 29.03.2017 asked executive engineer regarding clarification of electricity bill amounting rs. 2, 67, 139/- and requested to furnish the month wise detail and the correct bill. Subsequently reminders were issued on 01.06.2017, 25.07.2017, 29.08.2017 24.04.18 & 15.10.18. (Copies enclosed as annexure iii) but month wise details for whole period of bill claimed has not been provided till date. However, nbpdcl vide legal notice no. 666 dated 17.04.2018 asked fci district office hajipur to deposit rs. 3, 56, 206/- (Bill + interest) within 15 days (Copy enclosed as annexure iv). Subsequently this office issued letter dated 24.04.2018 to the executive engineer to give the month wise detail of power consumption of claimed amount (Copy enclosed as annexure v). A meeting was held with the revenue officer nbpdcl on 13.10.2018 and with executive engineer of nbpdcl on 16.11.2018 for submission of corrected bill alongwith the previous bill. But in the meeting the officers i. E. Revenue officer &executive engineer of nbpdcl has shown his reluctance in submitting the monthly bills of electricity. Moreover, the executive engineer was emphasizing to deposit the amount of the bill at the earliest as they had already sent the notice to fci do hajipur. Based on above stated facts, it is requested to kindly look into the matter and directthe executive engineer of nbpdclhajipur to submit the month wise detailed corrected bill to fci. Moreover, due tonon-availability of month wise previous bills and submission of incorrect bill by nbpdcl this office is unable to release the payments of electricity bill. Further as the payment is withheld due tonon-availability of previous bill and submission of incorrect bills by nbpdcl, fci is not liable to pay any interest and statutory/ non statutory charges levied along with the original bill. In my area the meter reading person will to came here to read Meyer there fore so much bill was came and I have not eligible to pay. And say for extra charges for meter reading please help me...
