[Resolved] Nsdl E-Governance Infrastructure — Pan card not processed for past 3 months | |||||
I filed my pan card name change request through nsdl on 31st march '2017. The same was forwarded to income tax department on 21st april'2017, all the required documents (Aadhar card marriage certificate) have been sent to nsdl via email as i opted for online ekyc method. Till date, i have not received the pan card and the status is "your application for 'new pan card or/and changes or correction in pan data' is under process at income tax department" is same for past two months. I have call customer care n number of times but they do not have any update and every time the response is please call after 5-7 days. I understand there are large number of applications by all other citizens but then process needs to be fast forwarded. 3 months is a too long time for any verification and name change to occur in some documents. Please look into this so that like other departments (Passport, aadhar) processing is fast and hassle free, Was this information helpful? | |||||
