Ola Cabs / Ani Technologies — driver did not reach pickup point and cancelled ride without informing - we were expected to pay fine | |
On June 23rd (saturday) at 11:19 am, I planned to take my parents out for a movie. We booked an ola cab and we were expecting for things to go smoothly. But unfortunately for us, that was not the case at all. Infact it was a huge nightmare of an experience and I do not wish to encounter such misfortune in the future. We called the driver multiple times and he refused to tell us exactly where he was. We also patiently waited for him to arrive even though he was very late and didn't really show up at all. When we felt like our movie was going to miss we planned to call the driver again but by that time he had already cancelled the ride without even telling us. Then we had to rush to the place using different means of transportation. Other than the embarrassment we had to encounter that day caused by Ola, we were also expected to pay a fine after A.) being late to our place, B.) waiting for the careless driver C.) not even cancelling the ride ourselves D.) not being informed about the cancelled ride by the driver. The fact that they expect us to pay fine when we book our next ride, despite the fact that it was the driver's fault makes me feel like we have been ripped off. Service not good. Ac not working or partially in 10% time of overall journey. Driver knew it in prior, despite he told ice in coolant blocking air to pass. Will be OK in 15 mins on trip starts. No results. In mid summer no access but about to pay full payment n toll
