Ola Cabs — Cab Services - Concerns - Recommendations

I have been using Ola cabs recently. I am much satisfied with prompt services and also politeness of the Drivers. However, to improve the services better and better I wish to submit the following concerns: 1. Cars are unclean need to be cleaned at least at the time when the cars reach the pickup site before time. 2. Some cars need to be repaired inside (including window one found very hard to close) and painted. Some of them look shabby. 3. Waiting charges should be not collected if boarded ahead of time. In my case all the time it was collected when most of the time I boarded before pick up time. 4. One driver did not know the entire route so had to travel on inquiring with auto drivers which caused extended distance and charged little higher. This is a burden on the customers to pay for no fault of them. There should be some mechanism to avoid such burden. 5. Bill for trip charge should be dispensed immediately after reaching the destination (similar to China) and produced to the customer. 6. Driver should inform when starting mobile for meter reading before starting the car 7. There should be a name plate indicating the photo of the driver, his name, mobile number and also Ola emergency number (this will assist those who don't have mobiles). This should be displayed in front as well as back seat. 8. Expiry date of car insurance policy should also be displayed 9. Some drivers did not wear seat belts. There should be on site inspection to be done at different place to ensure drivers wear seat belts 10. Technical and mechanical check up should be done on a daily basis before moving the cars for customer services 11. Periodically blood test for drivers should be done to ensure that they don’t drink (it should be made mandatory that no drivers should have the habit of drinking as long as they are engaged in driver profession) In the interest of the cab services and the safety of the customers above are recommended.
