[Resolved]  Ola Cabs — Ola double charged - cash as well as ola money

I had booked ola cab in bangalore to travel from kadugodi to hebbal. The following details were sent to me.
Say ola to your driver ramesh ([protected]) for crn[protected]. Indica ka32b8215 to pick you up @ 11:13 am, 03 may. 1.6 times peak time charge is applicable on this booking.
Upon boarding the driver asked me to pay by cash and not ola money. I agreed. While driving, he was on phone most of the time and drove with a speed of 30-40kmph on outer ring road. But that is a separate topic.
The bill for the ride was 660. When i paid him rs.700, he said he did not have any change and left. When i went to ola app to rate the ride, it froze as usual so gave up. At night when i opened ola app, i found that rs. 660 were deducted from my ola money account. As per ola help page, they sent an otp to customer's phone to confirm payment but that never happened.
When i raised this to ola support, they refused to have taken any cash and closed the topic.

Hi,

On 17th June we booked ola auto "KA04 4268" from mysore circle to Peenya 2nd stage 10.45 pm.
There is 11 km but while drop time he is telling it's 34 km. We 3 female she asked he replied very rude. He told it's 1 and half so u should give 685 rs. Commonly it's only 180rs but he asked this much. We all ladies so we couldn't argue with him in night time.

Please action on this driver "KA04 4268". It should not happen to other and give back our money.

Booked ola round way trip.. amount shown was around 3350 .. but after reaching one way driver said u have clicked on wrong time and so this is ur charge for one way.. 3759 was gpayed to him for juz one way..called ola customer care and waited for nearly 10 min but nobody answered.. really disappointed ..plz contact me and refund my hard earned money.. one way amount has to be around[protected].. how can ola charge me exactly double amount for one way?

Today I had a booked ola auto from Kodigehalli gate to Kammagondanahalli. The amount I need to pay was ₹112. Unfortunately, the GPAY at that time was under processing( delay) I informed him to wait Couple of Minutes since its still processing. Then he told me to do via soon as he didnt get any msg. Then I had to pay via Phonepay.but till then I was already processed in Gpay. I informed him to retrive back the extra many that has been paid. He demanded saying he didnt get any msg. Later I got to know its has been deducted twice. Later I called him and he told me retrive the remaining money within half an hour.. Then there is no response nor taking a call . Kindly look into it and retrive the dedicted money.

I Booked a ride on 16th February 2021. Made payment via Google pay during the ride, but the driver denied the receipt of payment. I have checked on Google pay and in my bank account amount has been debited, but the same has not been received by driver and ola app was still showing payment pending for this ride. After waiting for some time for confirmation from ola and driver and my trip ended, since driver did not received payment, I had made another payment of Rs. 282/- via same mode. I couldn't find any option in ola app. So I am sharing my issue here maybe hope it'll work.

Google pay confirmed that payment was successful. I am sharing both transaction id with screen shot and trip details.

Please resolve my issue. Why Ola customer care is so poor. It's approx 1 month cross. Still no response is coming from ola team. 282 is a big amount for me.
I am complaining again because my issue is not resolved yet.

I am not using OLA from 16th February 2021. Maybe my issue will not resolved. So I am going to uninstall the application.
I am requesting you sir. Please check my complaint. I didn't get any reply from you. It's approx cross 1 month and still I didn't get any response form ola team.
I have raised the Ticket[protected]..As the driver has demanded me 648rs but in ola app it showed as 121..Why i didn't get any call..Issue is not resolved..But ticket is getting resolved..What the hell the support team is doing..Please refund me the amount..

Same thing happened with me today. I've paid by phonepe app and after reached my location driver asked me for cash payment also. I paid him to on the request of Ola customer care person. Now unable to contact with Ola customer care team. Please help me someone.
Hi,
I took a trip in Bangalore from the airport to Electronic City Phase One. Upon booking, I chose the payment method as gpay (UPI id) and started the ride. About twenty minutes before reaching my destination, I paid the amount shown on the ola app directly using gpay UPI. That amount was Rs. 1386. The toll and other things, I was supposed to pay after the ride which amounted to Rs. 131 as shown in the invoice screenshot. It is also clearly shown that I paid 1386 through gpay.

Once the ride ended, the driver showed me his phone and siad that I was supposed to pay the full amount in cash. I told him that I paid, but he insisted and said that I will recieve a refund if I raise an issue and that I should pay him Rs. 1436. I did that, believing him and now I have paid extra. I tried to contact ola support, but no one is responding.

Please take action on the driver with name 'SHIVAKUMAR H' with a white Swift dzire. CRN[protected]

I want a refund of the extra amount I paid.
