Ola Cabs — Worst Journey for which i was cahrged as well | |||
Hi, This in regards to the cab which i booked from my office Capgemini MIDC, Talwade Pune at around 10 pm. Details:-Confirmed CRN 60598236. I booked the cab at 10.16pm, the ETA was 18 minute, so the driver was expected to come at 10.35. I checked my watch, it was 10.35, my Ola app showed driver has arrived.When i called the driver he said it will take him 10 mins, called him again said 5 mins, called him again after 5 mins said 5 minutes more and finally he was there with the car but to my surprise it was without diesel, so what driver said i will send make sure you reach your destination. Called some guy for my pick up, but he never came. I said to the driver if you didn't had petrol, you could have easily cancelled the request, i had the auto option, i would have gone by the auto. To my question the driver replied, you can go by auto now, when it was already 11, hardly any auto i would have found. He said Sir lets go, i went inside the car, he said i will start your reading, i said ok, so he started the reading.we travelled only a bit, now we had to take a left but the driver said we need to look for diesel so he took the right turn, the opposite way to my journey looking, i said you have started the reading, why are looking for diesel on my money.He said Sir give me 10-20 rupees less, it was really lonely road, i was frightened, the driver was nice but u always get terrified seeing lonely roads after hearing all the stories of Cab services.We reached a petrol pump but that was closed.So he started the Car, travelling so fast, i didn't said anything to him, as he seems to be a local guy, frightened but still some how managed to call customer care.In the meanwhile the driver we had already covered half distance, and was on the highway and driver stopped. I talked with the guy from the customer care Rameshwara, he put my call on hold, and started talking to the driver for more than 5 minute.Some how it came to his mind that the customer is on the line so he connected to me again, saying we are sorry, We will try to book a cab for you an told the driver to stop the reading which had reached to rs204, For half an hour, i was waiting on the highway but nothing happened, called Ola cab customer care again, but every time but every new customer care i needed to tell my tragedic journey from the scrath again. After few time the customer care guy Rameshwara, called saying that we cannot book a cab for you as there are no cabs available near your place. In the Meantime he said i have credited your Account with 300 Ola money as a good will gesture. He told me about my exact location, i conveyed that to him.I checked my watch it was almost 12, so i started walking and after walking for about 2 kms i found the auto, I was travelling through the auto and Rameshwara called again saying sorry Sir, we have booked a cab for my. I said no need of it man, i have booked an Auto. In Short what i want to convey if my mother, daughter, sister, wife would have been in my place or even i would have some important metting to attend.What would have they or i done? To add the misery i was charged with 200 bucks which Ola deducted from my Account for this kind of journey.Is this the way you treat your customers??? I hope i will write a good article on this.
