Hey recently i wanted to buy a x2-01 mobile in mumbai which is not available so i looked out for another states so i got this person name pawan he said me to pay 1700rs 1500rs for mobile and 200rs courier charges via paytm so i transferred, but he is saying he didnt received any money but from my account it was sent, so i contacted paytm customer care they said the amount has been received by that pawan guy and he also transferred the sum amount to his bank account so they cant refund me back my 1700rs no today he even blocked me on whatsapp and not receiving any phones from unknown numbers!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TAKE A VERY SERIOUS ACTION AGAINST HIM!! PROOF ATTACHED TOO here is what the paymtm guys told me back Dear Mariyam, Greetings from Paytm! We tried reach you via call but there was no response from our end. As per your concern we would like to inform you that as we have check and found that the transaction against Transaction id :- [protected] of INR 1700 which was transferred from your wallet for the mutual deal was first transferred to paytm wallet registered with mobile no :- [protected] and then the amount has been transferred to bank account . At present, we have blocked this accounts for further use. So we suggest you that kindly take a legal action and lodge a FIR against the given details including all the incident happens during the time of transaction and then share the copy of FIR with us. Since the amount has already been consumed and transferred to bank hence we are unable to refund the same. To avoid such inconvenience in future, please follow the steps below to make sure this doesn't happen again. 1. Always keep your password, OTP confidential and never share with anyone. 2. Beware of websites and social media pages that are propagating fake offers. 3. Do not share your login details, transaction IDs or order IDs over unsolicited calls/ emails/ website links 4. Do not enter your Paytm account credentials anywhere except www.Paytm.com. Always look for https login while logging in Paytm. 5. Change your password regularly 6. Never share your credit/debit card or bank details with anyone 7. Set a difficult password 8.
