[Resolved] Olx India — Mobile dealer not returning the handset not refunding money | |||
Dear Sir/Ma'am, I've purchased a 2 pcs note 2 handset from one of the Kolkata dealer on the basis of his advertisement for Samsung Note 2 handset by the name Abdul Baasit contact no.- [protected], [protected] on 15th April 2014 for Rs.[protected] each). He sent both the handsets through courier which were received on 19th April 2014. On 20th April it was updated to him that there is a problem with one of the Note 2 phone backup as the battery drains very early i.e. between 1 to 2 hours after full charge. for which he asked me to change the battery & check this at my end as he do not have additional battery in stock with him to check. As the handset was sent directly to Ludhiana, so i asked my brother to try replacing the battery & check if it resolves the problem. But after arranging the battery the customer checked & replied after 3 to 4 days that even after replacing the battery the phone is giving the same problem. As per his diagnosis i updated Abdul Baasit that the phone is having same problem & it seems the problem with the mainboard of the phone. He then asked me to check with the original battery for which i asked customer to send the handset to Delhi as i do have the original battery for note 2 which i should check & revert accordingly to Abdul. The handsets was received to me on 5th of May 2014 which after checking with original battery for 3 regular days it was updated to Abdul that the handset is having same problem with original battery as well. So he asked me to send the handset back to him. The handset was sent to him on 8th of May 2014 by DTDC courier vide docket V16485131 which was delivered to him on 15th May 2014 for which he said after 3 to 4 days that he can't replace the handset & will return the handset after repair. After a regular follow up with him for 2 weeks he said that the handset is not able to repair, for which i asked him to refund my money as the handset was not working since very first day. Abdul responded & said he will not give a replacement nor he will refund my money for the Samsung Note 2 handset & used very abusive language & asked me to come & pick my handset from fancy market & told me that he will not spare me & will break my legs if i should go there for the handset. He stopped picking my calls & never responds to the messages sent to him & even stopped responding on WhatsApp. Yesterday i found that he has blocked my number due to which he is not getting anymore calls from my number & not responding to my messages. So, i would request you to help me in every possible way to get the refund of my money for one Note2 problematic handset. If you need any further information from my side regarding the payment transfer to his account please let me know i will give the complete details accordingly. Many Thanks in Advance.
