Hi sir/ma'am, I want to report a fraud which happened through paytm. Incident: i posted a few advertisements on olx and this guy called me and discussed furniture (Which i advertised) and my location from where he wanted to pick the advertised items. He further talked about payment and asked me to share my google pay number. When i shared my google pay number, he shared one paytm scanner qr to me and asked me to scan. As soon as i scanned that qr code, all the details were prefilled (Amount and the name field (Sumitra, shakti singh chouhan) and i thought that this was going to be my collection request so i proceeded but the amount got deducted from my account. This he did 3-4 times by promising that whatever amount is deducted from my account, will be transferred back to my account. I lost 80k+ in total 4 different txns: 1st was of 20k (Pfa 1st screensot. Jpg), 2nd was 20k (2nd screenshot. Jpg), 3rd was rs. 10 and 4th was 40k. I even tried calling him again and requested my money back, his number is still active and in fact he is picking up the calls too but i figured out that he is not willing to return.
