Olx India — Refund due to multiple fraud users

A person named Nitin Kumar - [protected] posed as a potential buyer n duped me of 2.27 lakhs. He was acting like a victim trying to send me money through QR Code and then started shouting and abusing saying 'lagta hai tum ambani ki beti ho n bahut paise hai tumhare pass. ' he called other fraudsters to shout n abuse me to get money n then he started forcing me to withdraw money from other bank accounts. All these fraudsters claim to have a current account and then to transfer money from current to savings account - we have to first give them money first and then they return double the amount because thats how it works from current to savings account. He kept acting like a crying person saying 'mai apni beti ka kasam khata hu fraud nai hu'. all those fake tactics. He keeps putting fake profile pictures on whatsapp of different people to hide his true identity. I have exported the chat of his QR codes to get money. He was forcing me to send money and show me my account details.

OLX obviously takes long to remove account and all they have is an apology for the mental trauma and harassment we go through and the money lost is never returned. OLX lets frauds come into their websites and then do not file police complaints against them and expects duped clients to do it. They do not take due diligence in scanning fraud profiles before making their accounts and they have such policies that they do not refund duped customers.

They are not scanning frauds before letting them create an account and not taking responsbility of improving their website. If you complaint to them, they just send a sorry /apology email and do not file complaints against fraudsters they have, They think that is enough whereas innocent customers are constantly getting duped by fraudsters in this website.
