I ordered VU GLO LED TV in Flipkart, i recieved the Product servie excutive done installation, after 10 days the TV in not working, then I raised a complaint in VU TV COSTOMER CARE, then the service engineer visited and found that tha pannel is physically damaged, I taken a policy COMPLETE DAMAGE PROTECTION PLAN IN ONE ASSIST and he suggested to contact to insurance team.in this regard I raised a service request number is 17789339.
Then the ONE ASSIST TEAM simply rejected my request with silly reason is damage caused by NEGLIGENCE.
I received the below mail:
This pertains to your Claim Number SR# 17789339 against the breakdown of your appliance.
We would like to draw your attention to the Exclusions Applicable under the contract mentioned under clause no 20.11 as below –
Damage caused by unauthorized repair, theft, burglary and accident including earthquake, storm and or hurricane, abuse, misuse, sand, dust, water, negligence, fire, flood, lightning leading to fire, malicious damage, impact, corrosion, battery leakage, acts of god, animal or insect infestation or intrusion.
as you mentioned the clause (you mentioned in mail 20.11, I clearly understood what you have much knowledge about policy)19.11 there is no negligence found from our side.
I was surprised with your notation that 19.11 clearly mentioned "accident including earthquakes" then what is propose of mentioning the first page with "3 year accidental damage and surge protection" and clause 16.3 accidental damage protection for 3 year from the date of activation".
As per the terms and conditions in General definitions it is given that accidental damage: "damage that occurs suddenly as a result of an unexpected and non-deliberate external action and has an impact on the functional performance of the appliance"
With this note i, once again sending the request for claim for damage to restore my Telivision, otherwise it is clear that I would like to spread and Share my experience with ONE ASSIST in social media platforms (Mails, Chatting Screen shots in one assist app) how your company is misleading the customers,
as well as I would like to lodge a legal complaint on your company. you may get a legal notice from consumer court.
as per my experience" ONE ASSIST IS BAD ASSIST" Hence I request you to settle this issue as early as possible
