Wanted to raise issue with regards to the BER - Beyond Economical Repair of MI TV. Had taken Home Assist Plan in Oct 2022 for 1 Yr Comprehensive AMC Cover amount 40, 000 plan covered till Oct 2023.

The plan was in effect and had raised a service call on 1st Dec 2022, subsequently they arranged a technician who visited and after few days it was assessed as BER and they approved amount of Rs 9725/- which was very less as compared to the chart provided by One Assist.

Had informed them that the deduction of Rs 3, 575 was not acceptable to us. We could understand Rs 1000/- salvage amount deduction as the TV was not being picked up by One Assist. Had a discussion over phone call with their representative and informed them about entire amount Rs. 14299 to be refunded which OneAssist denied. Also informed the rep that we would approach consumer forum which they said we are free to approach such forums and finally paid Rs, 9725/- only.
Request now to release the remaining amount of Rs 3, 575/- which was deducted without any reason.
OneAssist Consumer Solutions customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Updated by jayeshsamel OneAssist team member Hetal called and repeated the same old story, informed her that we need the remaining amount of Rs 3, 575/- which was deducted arbitrarily. She informed that they will not pay the remaining amount to which we informed that we will take further action via consumer forum and consumer court. OneAssist is still to revert on mail that they are not paying the remaining amount though they have informed on call to us hence waiting for their mail to take further action. It has been 2 days and OneAssist is yet to reply over mail.
