OneAssist Consumer Solutions — Debiting money from my bank account without informing me | |||
I have for one assist wallet protection plan through my icici bank reference two years back ago. Now before a week i was due for renewal of this plan and my money rs.1399/- got debited from my bank account which is linked to it without intimating to me. I checked my bank statement for the debit and contacted one assist customer care. One representative dharmesh dhotre responded to my call as he was referring me for the renewal. After some time i told him he has not intimated me by email or other source regarding the renewal and means to cancel my plan and asked him to refund my money back. He told the company people send me the notification to my email two times before the deduction for which after i checked mail it is not there in my mail box and then told if i cancel the plan now (Since money got debited from my account) the plan gets cancelled and i could not get the full refund and suggested he will give discount of rs.400/- on the renewal of existing plan. And after the conversation i also checked the renewal status in the one assist app it is showing it is due for renewal to till date. How can they renew the plan without intimating the user and as well as how they charge for renewal before the active plan expires. I want full refund back. Submitting the proofs below.
