[Resolved] OneAssist Consumer Solutions — OneAssits Mi5 MiProtect rejected and not returning unrepaired phone | |||||
This is reference to my claim request for my MI 5 phone (Rs.25000) against service request No.1650770 dated 16-Nov-2016. It has been since 2 months on daily basis I am following up with OneAssist team through Email and customer care number but till date it has not been resolved. I had purchased Insurance (MI protect) from MI (Xiaomi Website) considering its brand value but never thought I would be getting such worst service from its associate business partner One Assist. In MI website it is clearly stated that claim can be made against mobile dropped in toilet. But instead they have rejected my claim by giving following rejection remarks. “THE SUBJECT CLAIM IS NOT ADMISSIBLE UNDER EXCLUSION 10 - LOSS OR DAMAGE CAUSED BY INCORRECT STORAGE WILFUL NEGLIGENCE (NO PROPER CARE OF HANDSET HAS BEEN TAKEN BY INSURED TO SAFEGUARD THE PROPERTY.) IMPROPER HANDLING. You may also refer to Exclusion number- 10 of the policy. ” Please make note that the same was not happened due to negligence, as the same is accidentally happened. It is my honesty that I have mentioned the reason for damage correctly which is genuine. Also note that it was my hard earned money from which I had purchased such expensive mobile so there is no reason for improper handling. When the same was explained to OneAssist team they said they cannot do anything as it was rejected by Insurance Company(which they have appointed). After all this harassment I googled complaint against OneAssist where I found many such customers who were facing such problems. I also noticed that mobile once handed to OneAssits are not returned or else they do not return in its original condition (non repairable). Considering this I requested for returning my un-repaired mobile from OneAssist but till date they have not returned the same. On daily basis I call OneAssist Team and send email regarding my return o[censored]nrepaired mobile phone but no logical reply is given. Many a times customer care keeps the phone on hold and then disconnect them. In my life time I have never ever faced such type of service from any company even the government officials are better than this. I don’t understand how such branded company Xiaomi get associated with such company. This will not be the end has I have been tortured and harassed by OneAssits from last 2 months on daily basis. I would start my day daily by calling OneAssits and then I would spoil my whole day. So I will go till any extent unit the issue get sorted out! Was this information helpful? | |||||
