Omsi is a complete fraud. I ordered a product and paid in full (Including 5% paytm plus rs100 surcharge). After 3 hours, an email came saying that “product arrangement will take approx 3-4 weeks & 1% chance is there that your product may get stuck in the custom so in that case custom clearance charge will be paid by you, also in case if it gets stuck then it may take more than one month approx time to arrange this product.” i cancelled, and requested refund by email that same day. After 10 days, refund did not show in my bank account. Further enquiries revealed that omsi denied receiving my refund request. Omsi then issued a notice of refund: “refund of rs 2274 is done with refund idxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and amount will be reflect in your account within 10-15 working days.” 27 more days have passed and still no refund. Repeated emails, phone calls (Most of which were disconnected by the omsi rep), and whatsapp messages have led to nothing but sheer filibustering on omni’s side: even when i informed them i was filing a fraud case, their reply was: “sorry for convenience cause, but its will takes some more time because amount is refunded via paytm gateway so kindly wait for some time and amount will be definitely reflect in your account very soon.” deplorable business practice: company should be heavily fined in addition to reimbursing all customers who have been defrauded.
