Respected Sir/Madam,
I, Mohit Verma, am filing this complaint against Otipy for failing to refund my wallet balance of ₹1495, despite the company having ceased its operations.
I had an active account with Otipy registered under my name, Mohit Verma, and mobile number [protected]. Prior to the company’s closure, an amount of ₹1495 was loaded into my Otipy wallet for future purchases. However, after Otipy abruptly shut down its services, the wallet balance remains unrefunded. I have made multiple attempts to contact their support team, but there has been no response or resolution.
This constitutes an unfair trade practice and a clear violation of consumer rights. The company has failed to return funds that rightfully belong to its customers, despite discontinuing its services.
I respectfully request the Hon’ble Forum to direct Otipy (or its parent company) to refund the amount of ₹1495 to my account and take appropriate action to prevent such negligence in future.
I am ready to provide any supporting documents or transaction details as required.
