I have made a booking with OYO sitting in a bus by calling them, booking was for hyderabad hotel - booking id is :
Booking Details (ID: K8AO2773),
Amount paid - 2268 RS.
Date of Booking - Nov 12, 2022 [6:24 PM] - have wassapp from OYO for booking but no wassapp on cancellation as they have done it illegally.
Cancellation email - 9:53 PM, which i have seen after knowing from hotel at 10 PM
When i reached to the hotel with 6 senior citizens at 9:30PM, i was told that my booking has been cancelled so i was standing there in an unknown city with 6 senior citizens who can not walk much.
When i check my email, i see the refund amount mentioned was ZERO & hence i called their customer support unlimited number of times and their executives turn out telling me that i my self cancelled it using IVR. I had been telling them that why will cancel by myself & reach to the hotel.
1. Check with hotel, if i am lying of not reaching in there with 6 senior citizens.
2. After making booking call [6:24PM - 09:53 PM] & in between cancellation email, check if i have made any call to cancel it - i did not
even after telling all the debugging details, executives (Nitin, one name which i remember) bluntly tell me that i am free to file any complaints.
This is DAY LIGHT LOOT, it has to be stopped. This is not first time OYO is doing this . We should ban OYO from running in our country & they are playing with the trust of country people.
Please help me in getting my money back. Thank you
